Sorry guy , you have a steep hill to climb if you wish to prove to me ....

Not being closed minded either .....

You can't blame those driver's not knowing how to tune or adjust....

No, I just support a product that I have actually used and enjoy.

As for proving anything to you, its hard to do that if you won't try the product? Regardless, you have your reasons for that and that's fine. I just suggest that people when they have issues with something at least contact the manufacturer with the issue (in the case you mentioned, that sounds like a real problem with how it was set).

But I personally don't sit in one camp or another. I will give a product or setup a go if I think it will work, which, I have done with your advice and RC Shox.

Can someone post a direct link to what setup is considered the Kody setup?

That is a small indoor high bite track. Not a good example of an outdoor track.

It works on and outdoor track.

When I see Mantis's best driver only taking it off to install the VTS ?

All the proof I need .....

Cain 08-13-2012 09:40 AM

unfortunately I think that is about the best one we have right now from AE.

thought, this setup kind of has me interested based on the low grip conditions mentioned on it:

depending on your gear, you may want to compare the Kody setup to Marcus RC Shox starting setup as at least from what I could tell on the track and what he mentioned, it seemed more oriented to outdoor conditions.

Okay. Do you know the conditions or do you need to wait for him to say what they were?

Aw man looks like so much fun. I néed to get outdoor before the rain returns this fall. Maybe marrysville or Dave's if I make a trip to Portland. It's nice to drive on perfect indoor track conditions but just cant beat a outdoor session on a good day.

Hey Cain...you are having trouble getting big air with your truck? Mine can hit them as hard as Jon's durango and Troy's Losi...maybe you want a set-up that is off of the tracks we run on?

As usual WC is just lying about it! if anyone installed a Cdif and couldnt clear a particular jump because of it it is simply not setup right. IT IS A CENTER DIF JUST LIKE ON EVERY OTHER 4WD TRUCK. SO I GUESS NONE OF THE LOSI'S OR DURANGOS COULDNT CLEAR IT EITHER??? Look WC im not going to sit here and let you continue to badmouth my product. We have all seen your horrible driving skills so really your opinion means nothing. If one of my team drivers decides not to use the dif in a certain situation thats fine, they will still use the garodisc so it doesnt matter as long as they win with my products. Guess what i know a guy who is a friend of another guy whos cousin had a VTS and he couldn't get the VTS to hold grip on a sweeper and that guy is on your team........jackazz!

Cain, i appreciate your honesty and the fact that you give an honest opinion about the things that you ACTUALLY TRY (ahem ahem). you have contacted me via PM before and this type of feedback is what pushes me to make better products. Talking out of your ass about products you have never tried is ignorant at best. WC thinks that we are all stupid while he is chewing on AE jocks and trying to breath:lol:
