I remember. You have missed out on a few really killer layouts at West Coast. Welcome back!

My brother in law has been racing and still goes there a lot. He goes by C-Lo. Races SCTE and B4.1. Some of the layouts have been sick...I have been keeping an eye on the layouts too. Are you racing the April fools series? Im going to do the next series race for sure.

I went to the track yesterday after 3 months...i was dying to go. lol

when you tug the belt it should move freely and easily with no binding

So who's running the +3mm wheels vs the stock width ones?

I ordered a set of each to see how stability the +3's add.

I do, with stock wheels you can turn in quicker, it's like the truck has more agility.

I like the look and extra track width of the +3 wheels and I want that extra stability as well. I have much love for the JC Hazard wheels. They look sick.

lol! Yeah, I'd loosen em up a touch. What I ended up doing is installing a .3mm shim on each side as opposed to two stock shims. Butter smooth and I find the single shim is less prone to deformation as well.

Are you modifying the sun gear shims, or the cross gear shims, or both to remove the notchy feeling? I'm building the FT kit right now and have the notchies...

I need some input...... I purchased a 4X4 SC10 (obviously) used. I am currently breaking it down to do a full rebuild. I noticed when I to dry fit the Pro-Line Flo-tech body it did not fit in the front....the front wheels are about 3mm wider then the rear. Any have any ideas on why the front would be so wide.....

I would assume the previous owner installed three mm offset wheels in the front...

I just matched up a roll pin (not a solid one) in my RC junk with a drill bit I had. I used a small cut off wheel just about worn down to a dime size to notch the diff ring on the inside. Placed it all back on the trans shaft to center it and mark where the the notch is on the slipper plate. Slowly drill a small hole for the roll pin. Cut off the extra pin and that is pretty much it.

Just take your time. It is easy to do it once slow then fast twice.

do i still do this if i ordred the upgrade to V2

This is just something that I did on my own. Not really something that is required to do.
