You have to remove the setscrew as it holds the plastic collar in place. Then you slide it off the setscrew side.

What weight oil comes in the shocks out of the box?
7075 was the next evolution, used in roughly the same applications in the aircraft industry as it has properties that allow it to be even more stiff and more heat treatable, roughly 10% more tensile strength vs. 6061.
But not everything is perfect. 7075 is not a choice material for bending or forming, as it's stiffer properties lend it to crack more than 6061. In some manufacturing process and some designs, 6061 can be a better choice.

We have been running the Tenshock 4600 and 4000kv models, and they fantastic. Not quite as ballistic as a Tekin pro4 4600, but not 150$ either, lol. Both the higher KV motors are quite a bit faster than the castle 4 pole, and like mentioned before...smoother...and less off power drag.
The SNR...well, one of my buddies bought one of those and it flexes like a wet noodle! It also lacks the side kickups to run the factory mud guards. Personally, I wouldn't run one. Perhaps on the slipperiest of tracks, the flex might help with traction...but otherwise I'd look elsewhere.
The chassis is dialed and I ordered and paid for it right off the web-site, no SNR sponsorship, discounts or freebies here... Try it, you might be faster..

Ryan - Is LOS3590 the stock diff gear grease the SCTE comes with?

Ridley - I have started running the SNR 3.7mm chassis w/ a Traxxas 102mm rod and it is extremely rigid. It does not have bends on each side of the chassis. The factory mud guards mount no problem and you then heat them up with a heat gun and bend them into place, took all but 10 minutes. I'm glad the chassis does not have the side bends because it has allowed me to mount the battery flat to the chassis and closer to the centerline.

Faster? lol. I already won everything here, If I get faster they'll start making me start backwards on the grid
