I just followed the manual. I did nothing special other than run a surface grinder over the diff rings to make sure they are flat. The gears felt a little tight but I'm sure they will break in fast.

to make the car a little quiter you can put a couple drops of 50wt shock oil on the diff gears front and back.

Are you running the balast weight?
Do you know how to set the diff and slipper?
What motor are you running?

I would say go with the 50 wt shock oil it is thinner and will not make the gears stick at all, it will also keep your tranny nice and free

Hey guys I just picked up a b44.1 and was wondering what shock oils with the stock springs would be a good all around setup?
