You also will benefit by having a set of tires, like M3 holeshots, with std foam. They will be softer and give you more bite. Just remember, when the bite comes up, they could make your lap times slower because you will 'bind' in the turns. That's when you switch to the closed cell. I'm also gonna assume that 8th scales are gonna blow that track out so you may have to run those goosebumps LOL
BOB CAN I RUN THE 4WD FRONTS ON THE 2WD FRONT RIMS????? ON THE

ROFL if you only knew.

Just before this year's motorama, I converted over to hex rims, so I had to glue up all new tires. I went through and glued up a bunch of sets at once... well one of the sets of front tires were actually mispackaged. They were 4wd fronts. I didn't catch it and ran the first day of racing like that and got heckled pretty hard for the next day or so LOL. Noob move on my part.

anyway, yes, they worked but obviously not as good as reg ones LOL.

I still don't believe I did that..... thanks for making me relive the stupidity

Default bob barry

our track there was dry an a little wet in spots.
i like the ripps in the front but had a push in the entry of the corners,
i do have some double dees, flipout and goosebumps rear order and grooves for the front, i was wanting a treaded tire for the front also?
we start racing during the evening but the track gets wetter at night by itself.

treads up front may make the car push if you get more fluff on the line or if you get out of the line. Flipouts work great on wet tracks. I never liked holeshots on wet tracks. AKA Impacts are good too but only when it's pretty swept, like first run after they clean the track off. If the track stays consistent, just try a couple different things until you nail it.

On my narrow chassis thing...

YEs it has flex side to side but I dont think as much as you guys think. Feels more then stock but not a ton. I have both to compare. The bracing holds it pretty well. The front to back is almost gone. Here's a pic of the bracing I did on the sides. Like I said before...If it sucks then back to stocker. This is a old chassis too. So just been a fun rainy day prodject.

Well you could cover the bottom of the chassis with those lead weights that have the sticky stuff on one side. Then cover that with a chassis protector.
