It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a lap, winning is winning.

Unless you're Charlie Sheen, then you'll always be WINNING, by a nose usually.

Cheers

Tis true though.

This is a pic of my original rear 'U' brace...

Its clearly not flat. If i had to say the offset... maybe .015? So, for you guys grounding them down... what washers and studs (short .030/long .060) you using?

I dont really see a clarification in the set up sheets. Just a measurement in Xmm. IE: If they are using Lunsford Ti studs i know they are .060 offset. So, is that .060 offset studs with 2mm worth of shims?

Because it may be subtle, but you should be able to tell a 250 gram battery, versus a 300 gram one. Then the shorty at 200 grams.

BB springs, Losi's in general, give the car a lot more stability, and consistency, a vast improvement. It may not show in lap times necessarily, but it shows in how many of the fast laps you can rattle off.

I just got the GHEA pistons, and ordered Yokomo springs. Cant wait for them to arrive to see how the handle, but thats what i enjoy now days.

Just my opinions, Krom.
but what if someone else put the different batteries in, so you didnt know which one they put in. would you really be able to tell the difference between a 250 and 300, or a 200 and 250?

I can, try it yourself.

I dont know how long you have been racing, but given time, you will too. Just try to slow your mind down, and notice the more subtle things thats happening with your car.

The tip off to the heavy battery, is when you exit a corner, and you want to go straight, but you feel the car rotate that extra little bit and then you have to counter steer ever so slight, and or wait for the car to square up and go. Again its very subtle, but you will notice it, given enough laps.

Good luck, Krom.

When I was running a RB5 I preferred the regular shocks to the big bores. Whatever end of the car I put the big bores on, that end of the car lost traction.
