In good shape it would be worth some coin. My brother has an old original Optima that his son races and finding parts for it is not fun.

The original RC10 gold anodized shocks were the best thing out there for the longest time until Kyosho came out with their gold shocks. Kyosho's golds were and still are pretty darn nice shocks.

Those aren't V2s... those are V1s. The V1s were awful. The V2s with K springs are as smooth as my 22 or schumacher shocks. They are harder to build as they are emulsion style shocks, but once you learn how to properly assemble them, they are butter.

disagree , nothing wrong with the original shocks performance, same as the V2 in fact.

Just not as convenient to rebuild as the v2

What driving characteristics are you all seeing going between the two inner ackerman holes on the steering rack? Which produces more and which produces less?

I did a few weeks ago on a dusty dry track. Felt a little free to me. The dbl dees felt more stable for me.

This outdoor track has traction , but you still need HoleShizzles cause the top layer gets Dusty . You still can pull wheelies . Kinda of strange to me .too have the grip but can't run BK Bars .. I'll have to report how it felt on Monday ,I'm also trying green Groovy's !
