I run them on my T4/B4 as something for my thumb to grab onto when carrying the car. I don't see there being any other benefit tbh.

I've always gone with RcScrews.
Hey, if it makes you happy... It's fine for bling, as long as you're prepared for the potential failures.

Lots of people run Ti, but it seems it's mostly for bling (the pros you see running them are sponsored by Ti screw manufacturers/resellers) since the weight savings are negligible, just as your increase in weight is negligible.

I'm not 100% sure why he does, but I've noticed that the SC10 motor guard is a little thicker than stock and extends to the left a tiny bit more to better protect your motor. It also keeps your spares count down - you just buy the SC10 ones and they work on every 2wd car. These are the reasons I replace all the originals with SC10 guards when they wear out...

Those were the spec tire for that class, same tire combo they used for the reedy race. They are handed out when you get there and should have a stamp on the sidewall that is checked during tech inspection.

For $35 I would buy the AVID steering rack and a vts slipper. I would reccomend avid slipper also but that's above your $$$ limit.

Steering rack yes, new slipper no. That is just the newest thing out. No one had a problem with their slipper before the VTS and Avid slipper came out. I have tried both and while they are nice and can help you fine tune your slipper easier they are definately not necessary

Has anyone tried the Tini ball studs? Just curious because they look cool and if there is a real performance gain that would be win win.

Some will say they have a performance gain, but I just think they look sweet!

Don't think I have seen them. Who makes them?

Alright, I'm looking to go back to AE for my 10th scalers. Does anyone know when or if the big bore shocks will be included in New kits?

Mod classes didn't run a spec tire at nats, just stock classes.

Thats right, i forgot about that. Im assuming he wants to run that front tire since its the reedy tire set-up plus they work good there but then again i haven't ran a scrub front in a very long time. Wish i could have attended but hopefully ill be at the reedy race.

Incorrect. The stock classes at ROAR Nationals were spec tires. Mod classes were completely open.

EDIT: Sorry didn't mean to pile it on you... I posted my response before further reading the thread and other replies.
