These are the one's I tried (7932's, though they were labeled GT2 and not B44)- they move the hub out about 1/8" and your dogbones will fall out :(
I spent 30 minutes trying to find a workaround at the LHS and gave up. I'm going to build a custom front block for the pivot and see if I can get toe from there :) |
If while using the GT2 hubs with the stock SC10 arms it lengthens the distance for the dogbones to cover, then just use the GT2 rear arms. I have the RPM GT2 arms on mine and I noticed that it narrowed the track width by about 5-6mm. I'm not running the GT2 hubs yet b/c I'm waiting for the bearings to come in, but the way it sounds from what ya'll are saying they should just slide right in then with no extra modification needed. My bearings should be in by tommorrow, so I'll try and post what I find out.

ok i spent the day at the hobbyshop tunen my truck.
forget about the gt2 rear blocks.we end up putting xxx-t rear blocks on it.only thing you have to do is run the losi hinge pins too,and drill the arms to fit them.they are slittly bigger then the stock one.this made all the difference in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i have some video of on the track i will post up later when i get it all down loaded. also since losi uses the same bearings you dont have to change them either.and these dont widen the truck at all. this is they way to go guys.after i installed them and did a tesrun on the track it was very hard for me to get the truck loose.it drive awsome now!!!!!so good i ended up taken almost all the weight out it too, only have a 1 1/2 ozs in the battery foam, and 10z up front half0z on each sid eof the servo. heres the part numbers for the parts you will need; losa6088 hinge pins losa9807 1 1dergree rear hubs. i will post pics and my video later. now get out there and get your trucks to hook up. thanks for all the input guys hope this will help yous out some. special thanks to Alex and all the hobbytown people for helping with this.you guys rock!!!!!!!!!!!!! later, don |
heres what i did at the hobby shop,to get me on the track. you maybe able to find shorter hinge pins but that wasnt in my plan
http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/w...Picture073.jpg and this is what i did when i got home.i dont care for e-clips so this is what i did.... http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/w...Picture077.jpg much nicer and NO e-clips this is why i went with the long ones.im not sure if they make the exact size ones.but this way you wont have to worry about loosen e-clips. im still tryen to figure out how to get the vedeo on here.my boy does that for me:D and hes stayen at a friends house to night.so i may have to wait to tomarrow to get it up here. also how do you make these pics smaller?????? |

There is a space between the 7 and the 1. I found them on Horizon and ordered them this evening. |

That's a great idea! You could also use spacers or fuel tubing if you can't find shorter ones and don't want to use a set screw from the bottom.
Good looking out! |
My SC-10 , I have been running it for a couple of weeks.

"I was just out lookin' at the asc part list. The B44 1.5deg rear hubs are #7932. They will also need the 7933 crush tube and the larger bearing 7935 to make this work I believe. Just wanted to help by putting all the number together for you guys. Mine are on order, and will try it out soon." So - another toe solution: 7932 1.5deg GT2/B44 hubs, GT2 rear arms, larger bearing, and longer hinge pin (which I made, not sure of the GT2 number ) Also attached a picture of my completed ride - Tony Stewart gone off-road :) |

I stopped back by the LHS and checked out the GT2 rear arms - they are shorter and a perfect match to the 7932 hubs.

Looking good!
I ordered the Losi rear hubs and hinge pins, but I ordered the GT2 rear hubs before I found out they didn't work w/ the SC10 arms. I think I'll pick up a set of the GT2 arms and the bigger bearings as well, it's good to have options. |
