Oh...whoops! I missed an entire step that was at the bottom of the previous page. We're all good now! Thanks.

Anyone know what turnbuckles are used in this picture?

thecman26 03-15-2012 10:34 PM

I just ordered a set of the J Concepts aluminum hubs for my SCX-60 (SC10), I remember hearing some people were using longer screws since the stock ones tend to strip, does anybody happen to know what size they used? Thanks!

Is CA effective for gluing the servo saver on the SC10?

Thanks for any input!

MM

I just pulled a rack apart that I bought from a fella at our local track and it looks like he used shoe goo. Seemed like a pretty good idea to me. I've used CA and it will pop free if you take a hard enough hit. You will want to check it periodically. Shoe goo ain't gonna break free. It might move a tiny bit though.

Incidentally, I've been pinning my STRC steering racks with a 2-56 button head screw.

Question for those that use telemetry sensors. Where is a good place to set up the rpm sensor? Will it read the reflector through the lear gear box cover? I guess I could put a notch in the cover to run the sensor through. Just wanted to see what other options there is.

I've been thinking about upgrading to telemetry setup. Didn't think about this at first, but I guess RPM would come in handy for trying to figure out when you should start applying the boost.

Exactly! I've been using the 2 onboard temp sensors which is really nice but I want to try the rpm sensor as well.

Anyone try the avid aluminum steering Bellcrank?
Thinking about getting 1 when they get off back order.

They kinda look like the losi spring steel ones, those are gold (from the tuning kit for the XXX-SCT).

Ran them on my buggy and have them installed on the truck too. Worth the money.
