Thanks,

I run a 6.5 in my FTSC10, and a 7.5 in my 2wd buggy.

Noob question on the FT kit again.....

Are the FT hubs just like the ones on the B4.1 Worlds kit? Or are they the old stock plastic ones wth the same size bearing on each side? Are we changing them out?

I've never seen a picture of what comes on the FT SC10. I have seen the B4 hubs in person though. Thanks!!

I can't say with 100% certainty, because my motor is a sensored motor, which are typically rated using "turns (T)". Sensorless motors on the other hand are typically rated using "Kv". I can do a rough conversion though, in which case I'd say my motor is approx. 4200Kv.

Here's a good thread that talks about the difference between the two different types of motors and how they differ: http://www.rctech.net/forum/radio-el...brushless.html

What kind of spring/Fluid/shock set ups are most popular for indoor clay tracks? are sway bars a important part of the set up? And what about ride height? I found this past weekend at a event i had to pretty much have the mudflaps dragging to get any grip in the rear end.

My set up is the RS Version chassis, V2 Shocks, Stock esc and 3300 Reedy motor, shock fluids are 40 up front, 20 in the rear, running front ride height higher to get air off the jumps. Silver A/E springs up front and Green A/E springs in the rear.

Any feedback would be greatley apreciated thx.

Has anyone tried the 22 Truck springs or is everyone still using the 22 Buggy springs? Are the truck springs longer?

 I will never use Integy ever again. I learned the hard way 6-7 years ago.

I run the 22t front springs and 22b rear. More ride height options with the 22b rear.

Aren't the rear springs the same between the truck and the buggy?

They are for Associated. But Losi's have different part numbers, so I'm guessing they have different lengths. But sounds like Buggy rears will be the way to go.

Different part numbers but same colors and spring rates.

Hot motor, cool esc means too high of gearing. You need to gear down if you want a cooler motor temp. Or lower your boost. Trial and error to see what you like really.

Thanks that makes a lot more sense to me for what I'm experiencing. I heard it the other way around from another member who is much better at setups than me, he may have misspoke: http://www.rctech.net/forum/10401709-post18426.html

Bottom end feels pretty good right now, but could use more mid to top end speed for the long straight. First I'm going to try going down to 24/78 (or what ever the next size up in spur is from 75) with the same boost and see how its goes. Going to keep target temps around 140 for practice time and won't mess with it before races to keep from burning up another motor. I got my replacement motor in and going to use the old one as a backup/spare parts since I know it doesn't run as fast as it first did and gets hot faster, so I know I caused some damage, but wasn't sure what to replace.

I like barcodes up front since they have that ring on the outside like you would see in a ribbed dirt tire which are susposed to be the best for fronts, but we can't run them in SCT, so the barcodes seem like a good alternative.

I just picked up some green presure points to try out on the rear for indoor clay and carpet, they look they they would provide more forward grip than the barcodes which seem to provide better side-bite.
