Who sells an aluminum wheel hex for the RS? I know jconcepts sells the rears but I'm looking for all 4 (frt and rears) no-one sells them together?

Since RS so new they are still under development. I read in the JConcepts thread they are going to release some for the frontends of SC10s using RS parts.

Picked up a FTSC10 yesterday to run on shortcourse nights at the local track. I've built several kits and pay close attention to the details but I've ran into a issue I just can't figure out. When bolting the transmission case halves together the 3 1" long screws which pass through it which thread to the motor mount plate don't seem to be long enough? With the washers over them I can barely get a thread in the motor mount plate and by taking them off I'm still not flush with the blue plate? Tranny spins free and I can't see a gap or anything which leads me to believe nothing is installed incorrectly. Any help on this would be great. Thanks

Both my b4.1 and SC10 had screws that were too short. I bought longer ones and cut them to fit.:tire:

Are u totally sure ur using the right screws in the right places?! There are (3) longer screws that go threw the tranny & into the motor plate... Check that the tranny screws are the correct measurements. (1) 4-40x1/2... (3) 4-40x1... & (3) .030 - Ballstud Washers used on the (3) 4-40x1 screws with blue loctite.. http://aedownloads.com/downloads/man...rtr_manual.pdf

They seem short but work fine with a drop of locktite to hold them. Thought the same thing 20 + years ago.

Most likely it's a plastic mold slightly out of tolerance. Someday I'll buy a new pair of case halves and see if it fits better. |

If you can get a few threads of the screw into the threads on the aluminum plate. That was my problem. Two of the three 1" screws barely made it in enough for loctite to do its job. The third one wouldn't reach without leaving the washer off.
