Stock body is best. Looks best and is light. Just cut 4 notches in the front of it so you can lower it into the bumper. Works great

+1 The stock body is the best.

Well currently when sitting next to the XXX-SCT the SC10 and it's body is at least 1" taller, I'd like to get the mass of the body as low as possible.

Manta sits the lowest do to the raised fenders

stock body gives the best performance

At the Spektrum race this weekend, not one SC10 in the A-Main had a stock body.

If there was an advantage to the stock one, they would be running it.

Due was running JC Raptor and Cav had a PL Silverado

No , they are sponsored and have to run those bodies ...

Only till there is an advantage to have, Cavalerri thru the Pro-Lines in the garbage and switched to JC Barcodes cause the PL weren't working. And he gets $$$ from PL if he wins with the PL on.

I run the JC Raptor and the 09 Championship Body.
The 09 Champ body seems slightly lighter and shorter in length than the Raptor.

I run both bodies at the #2 hole up front and #4 at the rear on the body mount pins.

On the 09 Champ body, I had to trim the bottom sides or they rub under full compression off jumps if I land flat.

On the Raptor, I have to cut and notch the front to fit down on the bumper.

The raptor seems to have slightly larger wheel wells for better wheel clearance.

If you run any lower in the back, the body will rub hard on the rear wheels under full compression unless you are super clean and backside every jump perfectly. No issues running the rear slightly raised for a raked mount and you don't have to worry about handling issues if rubbing.

You can put a card board box on Cav's truck and he still going to be fast.

He struggled dearly at the Spektrum race in SCT, got better with the Barcodes but by then Due, Chambers and Evans were hooked up.

Just received my FT SC10....has anyone summarized the tips and tricks through this thread or am I going to re-read the whole thing?

This looks like it's going to be a killer truck and fun build.

It does give the best performance but, in some conditions, it can turn into a parachute.

By cutting small "vent" holes in the rear solves that problem.

Has anyone tried a set-up with the speed control and receiver mounted behind the battery. Moving all electronics down the center of the truck? Maybe a shelf set-up like Losi uses on the new 22.
