You can use slash aluminum hexes with no mods just makes it a few mm wider.
I have used this for many races an have had no problems ..no more spun rims and no more front back wheels... rotate your wheels for less whear tear no more headachs .You can get these off ebay from a part hacker..25 or LHS 35...:tire: |

some guys I race with were using tc3 rear hexes. perfect fit for the ae axles.
wish I would have done it. brand new j-concepts wheel lasted 5 battery packs before I stripped 1 |
where on ebay can I find them? I run the same tires front and back and would love to get some even wear all the way around, or be able to have sets of two instead of 4.

27.5 in rear and 1's in front and 2's in rear.
Any weight added to the truck? With such soft rear springs, I'm guessing not. Wait, seriously, #1 pistons in FRONT? |

The HPI Biltz is key in making this work so you can run slash wheels at all four corners. Or, any 12mm hex wheels you want.
I have used this for many races an have had no problems. No more stripped wheels and no more different wheels, front to rear. You can even rotate your wheels from front to rear, no more uneven wear headaches! You can get these off ebay from a chop shop...25 or LHS 35...:tire:

Sono is just explaining that you can use Blitz parts to mount standard SCT wheels like Slash rears. I have a friend that has Blitz C-hubs in front and hexs in the rear and Slash rear wheels still fit under the body. It is wider so I think the new Proline zero offset wheels would be a better wheel to use. I personally have had no issues with the Stock AE wheels as long as I have checked the left rear nut. I like the look of the silver KMC wheel and the cost is really competitive. Mounting is easy. |

No more stripped rear wheels for me. Get some lock nuts at Home Cheapo, they hold tight and last lots longer than the Losi or FT nuts.

AE or Losi oil front and rear? Since you say 27.5 rear oil, I'm assuming Losi. Why can't AE come out with half weights shock oil?
