The easiest thing is just to check you rear wheel nut. Even though they are lock nuts, they dont hold. I check mine after each heat with no striped wheels. But I am the person who does a complete tear down every two race weekends.

I went to the hardware shop and picked up some roll pins that were a little longer then the slot in the wheel. Then I cut them down enough to still fit in the wheel. Knock on wood never had a problem. The stock pins for me was sliding to one side of the axle. All the load was on one side of the wheel which might be what is happening for some. I still have yet to tear up a wheel but I rotate tire after every run any ways.. Hope this helps..

Are you running front or rear slash wheels?, that's a great idea.:)

some guys I race with were using tc3 rear hexes. perfect fit for the ae axles.

wish I would have done it. brand new j-concepts wheel lasted 5 battery packs before I stripped 1

where on ebay can I find them? I run the same tires front and back and would love to get some even wear all the way around, or be able to have sets of two instead of 4.

AE or Losi oil front and rear? Since you say 27.5 rear oil, I'm assuming Losi. Why can't AE come out with half weights shock oil?

Any weight added to the truck? With such soft rear springs, I'm guessing not.

Wait, seriously, #1 pistons in FRONT?

I'm sorry, I'm feeling rather daft and can't comprehend this right now. Anybody care to translate?

You can even rotate your wheels from front to rear, no more uneven wear headaches!

ThunderbirdJunkie is assuming he means you should run the Blitz front hub carriers and axles with the bearings and hexes and such on the SC10 C-hubs. This would require drilling out the SC10 C-hubs to 3mm and using C-clips, from what ThunderbirdJunkie can tell, looking at his ancient HPI Nitro Rush vs his SC10

I think I can translate. I speak internet qwerky so here you go.

Sono is just explaining that you can use Blitz parts to mount standard SCT wheels like Slash rears. I have a friend that has Blitz C-hubs in front and hexs in the rear and Slash rear wheels still fit under the body. It is wider so I think the new Proline zero offset wheels would be a better wheel to use.

I personally have had no issues with the Stock AE wheels as long as I have checked the left rear nut. I like the look of the silver KMC wheel and the cost is really competitive. Mounting is easy.

He does run #1 pistons in the front.

No more stripped rear wheels for me. Get some lock nuts at Home Cheapo, they hold tight and last lots longer than the Losi or FT nuts.

aaaaaah, I'm not too interested in that mod. However, I wish they'd get the damned 1.5 degree toe hubs out already. My truck needs them badly.
