seen it before

Not the gear's fault if your slipper was set way tight ...

Hi guys, hope you can help me out here..

Been racing 1/10th 2 and 4wd for a while, and thought i should get something to "play around with"..

I just want to know, what other lids can be fitted to the SC10 car ?

I will run the sandpaws, and i know they are little to wide..

I want a lid that can cover the wheels, or a thinner one, like my Ansmann / Chevy.

Example.

Did look at the 3.3 Revo lids from proline, but they are wider then the Stampede lid i use on the truck..any ideas guys ?

Best regards Thomas

Totally agree with you there , ordered a couple of new idler gears and when its put back together ill start with a looser setting on the clutch. lesson learnt . I did set it by holding the wheels and blipping the throttle till the front wheels came off the ground but obviously i miscalculated and it was to tight.:o

No real ideas, but why would you run Sand Paws on the front of a 2wd truck?

Thomas P 09-05-2010 08:09 AM

It looks better :sneaky:

I have so much steering that i can sell :D

So i cant see the idea to run other in the front :)

No one with some lid ideas ?

ThunderbirdJunkie's Savage bodies seem to be a nice length, and fit between the front and rear bumpers.

Not sure if i follow T-Bird, Savage´s lids can fit?

T-BirdJunkie 09-05-2010 08:23 AM

Just from taking the SC10's body off and throwing the Savage body on top of the body posts, it looks like it's the fit you're looking for.

ft threaded shocks.

Out of the box i had a warranty claim for a faulty rear shock and Ive ended up with extra parts that are enough to make up an extra set of rear shocks including some ft thread shock bodies.Amainhobbies have an awesome customer service approach i must say.
Questions is is there any advantage gained by using the longer rear shocks at the front, fronts are classed as 1.02 and rears 1.39 in length im pretty sure.

Hurry while they last..

Not sure if anyone noted this.. but the regular SC10 kit on towers is only 140 -20 coupon + free shipping if you're a member!! HOT DEAL IMO! I've been running mine for 2yrs now and was looking for some new plastics anyway.. can't beat this deal, I mean 120 for a new roller.. I'll be able to sell my current sc10 to cover most of that, swap over my losi 3' hubs, upgraded turnbuckles and RPM front and and good to go racing again

Sorry if a repost.. I did put this on the other sc10 thread as well.. great deal.

Hey guys, building my ft sc10 right now. Plan on racing mod class with a 8.5. What is a good chassis set up for a hard packed clay indoor track? Help me get this truck dialed!

What is the consensus on the Reedy 6100 kv motor for these trucks ?
OR, the Reedy 4900 ?
