Hello everyone!

I am the proud owner of a SC10 "rocket-ship"
was wondering a few things? I am having a problem Deciding what end of the Servo linkage to take off. The Horn side or the servo saver side? I am using a Airtronics Sport MX-3 And am running a left trim of 10 to keep it straight. Never took these parts off before and info would be helpful.
Thanks

Take the servo horn off, set the trim to 0, and then put the horn back on the servo where the wheels are straight as possible. The trim is for very minor adjustments. Or you might want to adjust the turnbuckles

Would wager that you could do the same for the JConcepts

AKAs and Pro Lines and stock SC10 tires are the only thing ThunderbirdJunkie will subject himself to saying will work on them

thanks thunderbj. the z50king does not feel like paring tires that wont work on his wheels

One word of caution: the inside ribbing DOES push the sidewall out a bit as you can see in that pic. Truck seems to handle fine, so ThunderbirdJunkie is not concerned with it.

This looks cool but really doesn't work. Even with a 17.5 the tire will come off... I traded mine for a new set of Redux.

Running a Sidewinder 4600 system, they have yet to debead.

Pimpin 07-20-2010 06:52 PM

Pimpin knows pimpin and those rims ain't pimpin.

Haha

But yea I'm a hater of em for sure. Way faster without em.

New to racing but feel with 10.5 or better, what's a few extra grams for the beadlock rims? Running a stock 17.5, I'll go with glued to save the weight. The benefit I like running beadlocks for practice is evaluating different tire options.

adding rotational mass is worse than just adding mass to the vehicle becuase you have to angularly accelerate the mass plus linearly accelerate as well
