Sly6t, is that a 8.5 your running?
Just got a 8.5 Novak SS motor with a 2s Havok and was wondering what gearing you suggest starting out with. Its a race only truck, no bashing. |
i had a good bash over the weekend with my sc10 and the fan i put on the motor hanging over the back stayed on and was awsome. the heat sink really cools the engine down . the only problem was running the bigger esc fan and the fan on the motor off one channel . the car would only run for 5mins then bring up the low volt cutoff . but when i unplugged the lil fan on the motor it would work again and run for the rest of the life of the lipo. dunno whats up must be pulling to much or sumthing . so i only use that lil fan when iv just ran the car and its sitting there to cool the motor. within 3-4mins the motors cool again ready for another battery :).
but just buying the heat sink and cliping it on is a good cheap upgrade for the sc10 , just need to mod the rear bar and its on . |
Or you could just gear it properly, and you won't need the extra cooling
|
very very true :) but hey i like how fast it goes . my bros got a pretty quick 10gt and my sc10 needs to be able to chop it .

Hey Guys,
I have 2 RTR SC10s one was purchased used at the end of last year the other I purchased used around April of this year. I noticed that on the newer unit the inserts in the tires seem to be softer than the older truck. Has anyone else noticed this? Chris |

Hey guys I am considering an SC10 to replace my Slash. I have a ProTek 5000 in my Slash currently. The battery is 25mm high and fits great in the Slash but does not come close to fitting in my FT T4 (too tall). I noticed the non-FT SC10 has a different battery strap than my T4. Will a 25mm battery fit without bending, binding, etc.?

you could still find a couple more if you did a little sanding |
I just eliminated the battery strap and use velcro.
I havn't been on here in quite some time but was wondering what people are using for front shocks instead of the AE shocks? |

If you get the Factory Team carbon fiber battery strap it will fit. Thats what I did to make the 5600 fit.. |
Hey guys, any thoughts with the MIP CVD's/1 degree hub combo???
I am about to by both for my SC10 |
Hey guys, I have a quick question. What ESC are people running mostly in the sc10? I have a GTB but kinda wanted to keep that in my TC3. Are people running 540 or 550 motors?

Hello everyone!
I am the proud owner of a SC10 "rocket-ship" was wondering a few things? I am having a problem Deciding what end of the Servo linkage to take off. The Horn side or the servo saver side? I am using a Airtronics Sport MX-3 And am running a left trim of 10 to keep it straight. Never took these parts off before and info would be helpful. Thanks |
