I think you lose the front wheelbase adjustment when you use the RPM arms, I just got word that RPM is testing teh molds for the rear arms...

People started crashing and breaking, so I just stayed calmed and mDe sure to take all my normal lines and not do anything stupid. There were even some times I didn't feel right coming of a turn so I would roll the next jump because I didn't want to crash and lose my position!!
Truck was dialed, if I was up against the wall going down the straight I could go through the back sweeper with it held wide open. I gave it a little more slipper after heat 1, and it was easier to control. But only like 1/4 turn from never slipping crashing is where races are won and lost. dont crash and you will win more, even if your not the fastest on the track.

That part looks pretty cool! I've seen it before but I must've forgotten it because I haven't had a B4/T4/SC10 chassis since I sold my FT B4 years ago...
Gonna have to check that out. Regarding the motor getting hot, you're probably right. I'm running a 5700Kv in my B44 and even with it enclosed, the 5700Kv never got this hot as compared to my 4600Kv that's in my setup now... I'm gonna try to go down a tooth on my pinion... Seriously though, I need to get off my lazy butt and just turn the timing down on the 4600Kv so this truck will calm down! I set my 5700Kv's timing in my B44 down to "lowest" and that buggy became driveable! Thanks for the tips guys. Matt, what body did you get for the SC10? When mine gets too chewed up, I'm planning on getting the "Dare" body from JC... That style is really growing on me... I did see a VW Beetle body yesterday, looked cool but it kinda took away the SC look of having the tires tucked away underneath... I have had the Dare body for over a month now. couldnt decide what to do with it for paint and i have never painted a body other than all white. But i finally sacked up and just did something. alot of the guys at the track today were saying how they like the look of this body....its just something that will grow on people when there are more of them around. It looks WAY meaner going around the track!!! Here is the video from todays race. i added a little excitement to the main this time. :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwz1ITJPrGA

i was running my rear up front but now i have it in the middle for the new track going in @ ocrc. :D |
Pretty good racing there in Socal, looks like you would want a short wheelbase and stock rear toe for max steering...do you guys run a spec tire there?

Thanks for all the tips and setups everyone |
man, watchin that video tells me I just need to step it up and quit drivin like a retard. I was workin traffic much better for the 1st 3 and a half minutes but jeez, Matts truck is just wicked fast. Its hard to see but Matt pushed my truck all the way down the straight away. Great win and its good that we made a race out of it.

i was running the short wheelbase for this track along with 3.5* of rear toe and also 2* of anti squat.....the truck has TONS of steering. after i went to one spacer in front and rear of the hub it mellowed the trun in a little but and i was able to carry a little more speed through the corners. Cant wait for the new track for wed night racing. A couple of us got the pleasure of ripping down the wall ride last night. Im good at breaking shit. lol |

I am running a custom Panther tires in the rear that i made from a 1/10th scale tire and 1/8th scale tire. They are soooo hooked up its ridiculous. forward bite for DAYS! |
Here are some pics of my truck and the custom tires i made.
Feel free to give me crap about my first paint job. :D http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...1019091011.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...019091011a.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...1019091013.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...1019091016.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...1019091017.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...1019091010.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...019091010a.jpg |
