i tried the bowties on the rear and stock on the front and it pushed a lot when the back was driving hard and the front couldnt handle it. i like it best with front and rear bowties.

just dont get bowties on the front and stock on the rear, lololololol youd be so screwed

Oh, don't get me started on those Stock tires, bud. They are the worst tires I have ever had, bar none.

Those things are from the 7th ring of hell. It was like driving on ice.
They aren't bad on the street though. I've balded a couple pair. :)

Goose Bumps for the track for me.

haha yeah. i put a pair of m3 bowties on the front and took it out front of my house with the stock tires on the back. i couldnt even drift it, it would just flip around. the rear end would break free coming around the big bend in the street corner if i was holding it wide open. pieces of crap

I run the stock tires for practice and smoke the bowtie guys most of the time, then throw the bowties on for the race and you will be fast...

i just got my batteries. they are zippy flightmax 2s 5000 packs. the problem is they wont fit in the battery tray. they are slightly too wide. about 1/16th inch. i knew i was gonna have to dremel for the wires, but i didnt want to cut the whole chassis up. anyone have the same problems?

thanks

Sorry to hear that. I don't have any help I can offer, but do you have the link for the pack you ordered? I just ordered their 2s 4000mah pack and now I'm wondering if it will work. The leads come out the top so I don't have to cut the chassis for that, but now I'm concerned about the width.

Thanks

i bought them on hobbyking.com

We were asked by several of you here to let you know when it was on. It's on! We had a great time on this episode. The truck (SC10) is really cool and it marks the first time Rhiannon is on the show. Enjoy. www.rctvlive.com

Didn't realize you can fit a MM behind the battery. I might have to "borrow" your idea.... :sneaky:
