I run a medium to low traction outdoor dirt track and I really like the Hupo Honigl low traction set up on Petit RC.com

Any suggested settings for shock oil and pistons where the corners have rumble strips in them. The car feels great everywhere else but is unstable in and hops those instead of rolling over them. I am running the small bores with 25front and 20 in the rear with 2 hole 1.3 in front and 3 hole 1.4 in the rear.

Also, has anyone done any testing to get small bores and big bores to feel the same. I have both sets and matching oil and piston sizes and number holes with similar springs does not seem to do it. I am guessing the volume of the oil in the the body is coming into play.

the v4 page is live! After looking it over its not a huge change over the v3 not enough for me to get rid of my v3 and get the v4.

Biggest changes are that I'ev noticed are the 3 listed below in my opinion. The rest are just enhancements to the v3 that I'm sure we'll all upgrade to eventually.

molded cross pins (like the 408v2)
ujoint drive line
2-way slipper

that slipper config sucks on the sc10 4x4... I wonder how well the pads will hold up to the extra abuse.

Why so? You'd still be able to use a shorty if you want just the way people do with the current 410's since the chassis and battery compartment components are identical. Don't see the logic behind that comment.

They were also testing a prototype chassis at the worlds, which was completely different than the current chassis.

The v3/v4 chassis can fit a short pack. It wasn't designed for it, but it fits. Do some searching and you'll find out it's pretty easy to do.

the chassis used at the worlds was a test bench or test mule according to what lutz posted on here earlier. It was never a production based vehicle. Anything else has just been pure speculation based on opinions.
