I'll buy a G chassis if they sell a black one. I know I've seen it on oople before!

Only RED. You are thinking of Atomic Carbon that makes a graphite pan chassis. A good looking piece but not as "slim" as ours

You know you like the red! Also Tresrey only does red, the black might have been a prototype fro 8x racing in Germany where we get our chassis made to spec.

Is there anyone here who runs on what I call a "supercross" stye track. I live in Texas, the land of 8th scale buggy/truggy where this style is perferred. My DEX410 handles the tracks amazingly well, except when it comes to the monster jumps. The chassis bottoms out a lot and I was wondering if there is a solution. Would a bigger shock help, or should I just play with the shock oil/pistons combinations?

Let me ask this, on the monster jumps, are you landing flat or on a landing? 4wd cars like to land front tires first and on power so that it helps translate some of the landing energy into forward movement so that the chassis does not slap. I don't care what you do to the shocks, a big enough jump will flat bottom the car, ride height for these cars is only ~18-20mm

+1! That goes with 1/8th scale cars as well or ANYTHING that's jumping monster jumps. That's part of a driving skill is learning the right speed to land on the end-ramp of a jump.

@grape-some are on a landing , some are flat I was just wondering what the norm was as I have been strictly an onroad guy for the past 15yrs and was coaxed back onto the dirt by the DEX410! First race out I managed to TQ and ended in 4th after making a poor tire decision. But overall, it's a beast on the track. And with a few goodies from Konich, it'll be an even sexier beast!

Default Great Setup

Great practice session today guys. Havent run the car in a while and after wrenching on it for such a long time I think I got it pretty dialed. Im gonna share this setup with you for a medium traction clay track. Ofcourse it had more traction when wet but for the most part medium traction. Carl at our track tried the car out, a sponsored TD driver, and said it felt "super planted" and jumped very well, he also like the oil/spring combo feel. The only thing that may need changing is a lighter front diff oil. I may change the rear shocks to a heavier oil as well because if I landed hard enough it would slap. But this was when I was a bit careless, the heavier shock oil would serve as "insurance" against bottoming incase I dont land right. So far I have to say this is the best the car has felt in my hands and I ran the most consistent fast laps ever with this setup...

Front shocks- 2 hole piston/ 35wt Losi oil/ DK Blue springs/ inner hole on tower/ outer on arm
Rear shocks- 3 hole piston/ 30wt Losi oil/ DK Green springs/ middle hole on tower/ middle on arm
21mm ride height frnt/rear
Proline Suburbs all around/ JC molded closed cell inserts
-2 rear inner hinge brace/ #2 rear outer brace
1* rear hubs, long wheel base
Venom 30c 4200mah Lipos
7k front diff(may go to 6k or 5k)/ 3k rear diff- XRAY DIFF OIL
Alum. caster blocks in upper position
rear holes on ackerman plate/ 1mm shim under ball stud on ackerman plate
TD Brass side weights
CF rear brace around lipos
Front link is at stock positions. On alum caster block this is the outer hole and stock position for the tower hole
Rear link is outer hole on the rear hub and stock position for tower hole
-1* camber all around
0* front toe
slipper at stock
LRP SXX COMP V2 w/ LRP Fan/ Novak 7.5 Ballistic/ 23T Pinion (may go to 24)

This is a great setup guys very planted very consistant and very fast. Like I said I may change rear shock oil and front diff fluid to loosen up the front a tad but I believe with those tweaks this will be my base setup.

22.92, there may have been some quicker ones but I didnt check them all cuz Rob let in a Romper Room session towards the end and we all just bounced...Carls was low 21's but he barely pushed it.
