when there is wobble, the gear also wobbles. taking out the wobble will remove the wobble from the gear also.
keep us posted on that. it sounds like a solid idea. im also concerned that the friction from the out drive rubbing the washer may cause enough heat to melt the edge of the diff cup. i noticed tonight that the diff cup where the out drive goes thru isnt metal like on a 1/8. the extra play on the out drive might be there purposely. keep an eye on it and keep us posted.

ok so I know for sure to use P5 seals in the diffs, now as for shimming like a few pages back, are you all doing that?

I know the one guy said on the out drives, can someone show me where exactly on the outdrive?

i believe i am the only one doing it, but i recommend you guys give it a try.

just put them on the outdrive, and slide than put the outdrive in the diff like normal so the shims sit outside the outdrive.

you need 1 7x10 and 5x7 shim on each outdrive.

So...I have a problem. Started tearing apart the diffs to do the Kyosho p5s and shimmi g and broke a tip off flush in the diff screw. FLUSH

How do I get that screw out now? I tried prying the tip out to no avail... Any ideas?

you broke it flush? cant even use pliers to extract it out?

or dremel a line through it and take it out with a screw driver?

other than that is to use a screw extractor or new diff case

Use a dremel and cut a slot so you can use a screw driver .

So my wing is taking a beating. i was thinking about getting a losi 10t rear wing and seeing if i could make it work. it made out of a harder plastic not lexan. i realize that this will put more strain on the wing mounts ina crash does anyone know the wing dimensions on a losi tenT rear wing. my best guess is about 8 inches wide little wider then the stock rango wing

i bought one a while back, not a 10t though. it was on the wall at a hobby shop, i cant remember what it was off of. it was too small and looked stupid. if it was bigger i think it will work. those wing mounts are very tough and the plastic wings flex quite easily. the only thing i was worried about was the screws pulling out. let us know how it works. i got it, jammin's 1/12 truggy, that's what it was off of. dont buy that one!

I bought some black molded plastic ones a while back--not bad but remind me of a sprint car wing. I forget who makes them but the link is in this thread a bout 2-months ago . . .
