Be careful with the loctite! A small film will bind your CVDs. Leverage the Oople.com article and the Team-Durango "In the Pits" portion of the website.

Neither have I but when I built this car I used minimal loctite as mentioned in the Oople article but still had problems. I am not sure what it is and was baffled. I used a dab on the grub screw for the CVD joint and was enuff to bind them. I had to take them back apart and scrape them with a pick because the thin film that formed in the rotating components was enuff to creat an issue--as weird as it sounds--which I can only attribute to tight tolerances . . .

I think the mistake was using the red stuff with the kit. I only use the blue stuff on my 8th scale. I should have known better. Anyway, I am psyched that the diffs are sealed, the ESC switch has been replaced, and the right screw was used to prevent further totruring of 10+ servo savers. Now if I could just get on pace . . .
