Hey... I have an Evader Pro with a 5700 motor on it. I bought some tires which were mounted on XXX-T CR wheels. I had no idea they came with the quick change wheels. Now I have like 5 sets of rear tires because I had read that the Losi wheels fit the Evader.. Is there anyway to make these wheel fit onto the Evader?

I'm thinking maybe the CVD's or something might actually fit the Evader.

Let me know if anyone has any ideas...

For the first time on this thread, I have no idea!!!!!!!!!!!

But

You will need to do some research to find out if the bearings are the same size. If so you maybe able to put the LosiQC axles on your Evader. If you can locate a racer at your track that has a Losi with this setup maybe he will let you do some part side by side check!

OR maybe he needs some QC and has some "normal" to trade!!

=====

Checked a Evader and Losi (XXX-NT Adam Drake 2) manuals

Evader rear bearings = 5mm x 10mm
Losi rear bearings = 10mm x 15mm

Yep, checked it also. Anyone know if the hubs and CVD's will fit? I'd hate to have $40 worth the parts extra on this car, Although it's quite a good truck, I may just sell the wheels and tires or buy a XXX-T CR

I just use it for bashing around the track we made in the backyard.

I guess I'm going to bake the tires off of the wheels, and mount them on older Losi wheels. The front wheels fit just fine.

Default Aluminum Spur Gears

I just found this company today while I was poking around. They make aluminum spur gears for just about every Evader out there. Has anyone ever tried their gears?

I got my news wheels/tires mounted, and my tranny rebuilt Saturday. As soon as I hit the gas 1 good time, I stripped the idler gear again. I ordered a steel idler and the HG Alloy diff gear. Also, got some Acer diff balls and everything to complete the new tranny. Lucked up and found the Alloy gear for $34 shipped. The 5700 with a little hotter timing and a more aggressive throttle control will really get the Evader moving...

i have a evader st and i got spektrum radio reciever and servo and i got the traxxas vxl system in it. i run a 8 cell 4500 (just as good as lipo) and it hauls bicuits!!! im guessing around 50-55 mph. i think the evaders are really good trucks and it breaks less than my crappy losi speed t!!!! ive got a couple other hop ups like a 87t robinson spur gear, aluminum idler gear, and a glued differential (stock one couldnt handle it.) it is by far my favorite truck ive ever had.

Got in some track time with my evader bx last night, placed 3rd in a mod truck heat since there was no one else with a 2wd buggy. Then stripped my servo practicing and couldn't get the new one mounted in time for the main. Still had a great time and hopefully the car will hold together with the metal gear servo now!

Anyone know if a b4/t4 top shaft will fit in an evader tranny?

i run a 8 cell 4500 (just as good as lipo) <<< Nope.

Been there done that 5000 lipo is lighter AND more power AND last longer.

Put a 83 spur on it and it will be faster.

glued differential <<< your slipper was to tight, adjust it so it slips 1 and 1/2 to 2 RC truck lengths and double nut it so it won't over tighten.

J_Fowler adjusting your slipper will help you keep from striping the idler gear.

The slipper NOT holding a setting is a problem with ST AND the BX, you have to double nut them.
