Just check what the other (local) guys are running. Most of the times they can help you out.

Well it's been along time since I've raced anything with 4wd (2005- Corally). All I've raced is WGT but after watching the USVTA guys I decided to join the fun. Got the 6.1 and have a few questions.Since they run a 25.5, I was told to switch to a 96 spur (done). What range of pinions for this motor? Also front and rear springs and oil weights? This coming month running outdoors and November is carpet(Minregg/ Snowbirds warm up).
I also decided to run a non Camaro body- Cuda to start with.
My teammate is also looking to get a 6.1.And he has never driven a TC car (strcitly WGT).

at front section:
0B and 3B, should be (front) 0B, (rear)3A
and -1deg toe at front? maybe +1deg which looks better with -3.25 at rear????
btw what gives 7A on steering bellcrank then 8B or 7B?
I know that some change in ackerman, but which gives more steering (more agressive) and less steering (less agressive)?
see you!

stock top plate
Initially ran the car on carpet with an uncut stock top plate last winter in 17.5 blinky which I felt works great. Over the summer I cut the top plate front & back and ran mod outdoors. Well it's carpet season again and I plan on running mod so I was wondering if a cut top plate works well on carpet or do I need to go back with an uncut top plate. Any input is much appreciated.

If your car is balanced and you need basic overall grip you can run a slightly softer spring and possibly lower the suspension mounts to 3A all around. I'd also make sure there are no binds in the suspension and the ball cups are free.
