anyone have a good carpet setting for a M05 following TCS rules? including silver can and the spec mini tires?

the carpet has mid-high grip and a good size race area - I think mini's were turning mid-15s fast laps last weekend on the layout

i just wanna see how far off my setup is

I just installed my cva shocks last night, they are to long. They bottom out when the arms are level. Are there any shock towers available that facilitate a higher mounting point?

What internal spacer are you running? I have the 3mm one and it is fine.

Are you sure they are the Super Minis?

The "normal" Minis are too long and will bottom out like that.

Well.......... I guess I have the regular mini's and not the "super mini's" good thing they were only $16, but they'll find a home someday.

Thanks:

Default Need mounted Sweep 25's

Can anyone point me in the direction of a reliable supplier of genuine, mounted, Sweep 25's for indoor carpet racing. Preferably in the UK but not a must? Thanks.

Try www.rcracinguk.com or www.mmrflux.co.uk (better to call MMR as they have more stock than what is on their website).

I'm thinking of replacing my gear diff with ball diff. Please let me know if there is anything else that I should add to my shopping list:

53205 Universal Shft set
53263 TA03 Diff
53390 Hollow Carbon Gear Set...

I got AW Grease....

Please let me know if there is anything diff related that I should include.

Hi ! M05 ovners
I was wondering if anyone could help me with the measurments between the holes on the M05 steering plate.
Im modding my Avante and the 3Racing steering plate seems to fit if the measurments are alike.
On the Avante its 36mm between the steering posts and 73mm between the outher ball ends.
Thanks in advance

Owe

Tamiya M-05 steering sweeper dimensions. Measured center to center on the fasteners:

37mm at the posts, where they connect to the chassis. 55mm at the ball ends.
