Here´s an overview of my XB4 2013. I´m still racing it and it performs very well!

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. Better of picking up a 2015 now that the prices will drop

I don't run the front sway bar on the '15 car but still run the rear. I have run it on super high traction tracks like that and it has been fine.

yep. outdated rule. Thought they removed that rule all together for 2015.

While I would love it if this were true, I don't think it is. I hope I'm wrong or that ROAR will change the rule. But as I understand it, all chassis must be configurable to allow a standard stick pack or saddles.
Here's the link to the most recent update of the rule I could find - http://www.roarracing.com/blog_post.php?pid=2217&ps=25
Like I said earlier, there's nothing stopping anyone from stacking saddles to show a legal configuration, so I'd say the car is fine.

It is not a Know issue at all. you may be mistaken and thinking of the plastic ring and pinion gears that came with the 14 spec. I have ran that gear in the picture for a full year in my 15 spec with all the way up to 500,000 center diff oil indoors and outdoors and never blew a single gear. not 1 gear at all in the whole car over a full year and now that i have the 16spec my older 15 spec is still running with the guy who bought it off me with the original gears.

people that had issues with ring and pinion gears were the 14spec and most of the time it was because the slipper was set to tight, as I blew 2 in 2weeks before someone explained me the slipper settings and never had another issue.

Ive had them all, 22-4, zx6, b44.3, D413 and the new Sworkz s104 evo and none of them are as durable or built like the xray. the plastic, carbon fiber, and Hudy steel are top notch and at the top of the game right now. atleast thats my opinion

I will disagree with that. I had the 14 and 15 so I know the difference. I went through at least 4 on my 15 car. Now with the 16 car I have followed all of bents recommendations and have my slipper at 0mm and have zero issues so far. This leads me to believe I did something wrong to contribute to my issue with them stripping out. I know many people who have stripped out the metal input gear. Anyways... This 16 car is the best car I have ever put down on an Rc track, the car drives like a dream. I am extremely happy with my xb4 16.

0mm slipper? You run a locked slipper?

Question regarding the ball diffs for the xb4, the option part. Are the balls and rings interchangeable (for servicing) with other manufacturers? The diff comes preassembled just wanted to check.

Congrats you will love the car it drives like a dream even compared to the 15. The only real part the car needs is the 12 degree caster blocks. Yeah it sucks having to drop that much $ on them but I took off almost half a second off my fastest lap by just adding the blocks with the same setup.

Don't have the kit/manual yet. Do you have the part #s?
