The servo was the first thing I thought of for weight. I have a Futaba BLS451 but it's only 6 grams heavier than the shorty because the KO has an aluminum case. So that doesn't account for much.

I've been doing that with the antennas for a while now. Got the idea when I was trying to keep the antenna inside my F1 car. I just don't like the look of antennas sticking out and prefer not to bundle them up. I just heat up the antenna tube with a lighter and bend it to whatever position I want it.

Are there any locally available o rings available to use in place of the x ray ones that no one has yet? Any other fixes to leaky shock caps? Would 12x1.5 o rings work as well?

Lol that car must feel like a Turing car then cause he has only raced off road 5 times. Wonder if he was still running the boosted 10.5?!
Great job Eric!!

I started putting green slime on the threads and haven't had a leak issue since.

If you ever buy an old car look underneath the motor/tranny/rear end and if you see gobs of white grease under there it's to stop the leaks. White Lithium Grease. Smells nasty.
So what are all of you doing with the chassis flex screws ? Anyone with some test reports on how much effect they have would be great. I'm running the four corners and #2 and 6 down the middle since new and pretty happy with it. We just got a track rebuild and it's a speed track, not super fast but only one tight corner and a lot of speed carried around a sweeper. Should I go stiffer ? flexier ? what relation is the chassis flex to the shock package ? thoughts on the subject welcome.
HERE is a screen cap I just took , 329 racers battling it out at the Tekin Spring Indoor Showdown.

Really like the carbon holding down the wires. Did you make that yourself or is there somewhere to get that?

Finally got to drive my XB4 for the first time today. It's also the first time I've ever driven a 4 mod. This thing is ridiculously fast. Didnt break anything, but I did manage to completely destroy the rear wing. I guess I'll have to stock up on those haha. I have a lot of practice to do getting used to offroad again. I'd say these things are pretty dang durable.

Have you moved the servo more to the rear to balance the weight distribution front to rear?

Drilled new holes for the servo?
