No racing. I was married during those dark years, you get the picture. Free now, and my 10 yr old son and I have fallen in deep into RC. We've bashed for 3 years, this is our first season on indoor carpet. Have friends in Independence & Lexington, kind of close. Can't wait to visit!

Try #2..............
What are the dimensions of the very bottom of the Mamba ESC? Only the part that will sit on the chassis. Length and width.
I know the dimensions that are claimed, but I don't know if they include the overhanging circuit board or not.
Or
Will the esc fit behind the motor in a XXX-4? Actual experience please.
Thanks in advance.

The switch just turns the power on/off to the receiver. To turn off power to the ESC you have to disconnect the battery.

So when you turn off the switch to the ESC the car actually keeps running and it is not just the leds of the esc still on?

Unfortunately I am not 100% sure. I will check when I get back to the office on Tuesday and report back. Unless Joe is trolling around and has some input on this.
But no I do not think this is correct, but not positive.

After checking yes this is the way it does work due to the capacitor still holding a charge. They reccommend not to turn off the switch but to disconnect it from the battery as the on/off. They also say that using the on/off switch messes up the radio/esc calibration.
Hope this helps.
