I flew across the country to North Carolina to meet some of my team mates and to race at 2 tracks. Here is a video of one of the e-buggy A main's that i tq'ed and won but i think on my 1st lap i didn't want to race. I flipped over 3 times. I had 10 minutes to make up for it.

The Viper 17.5 is going to be on par with all those motors. I would say better, but my view is slightly biased. Our motor is a little more torquey, so you have to adjust your gearing a little. But the motors have won 17.5 classes across the country including the 2wd ROAR Stock Nats, and recently at the J Concepts Fall Indoor Champs, it won two of the three 17.5 class - and finished 2nd in the other class.

My viper 17.5 is very strong and I have no problems with the jumps on our local carpet offroad track. I'm now 2 for 2 with A-main wins with my 22 and Viper power! Very impressed.

Here is another vid of my win from last week. Ignore the bad start - total brain cramp on my part but the speed and handling shines through after I get back into the lead.

Hi, I landed a little hard tonight at the track and now the throttle cuts in and out. It will work for a few seconds, but if I drop my buggy from any higher than 6 inches off the ground, the throttle cuts completely out. Does this sound like it might be a problem with the ESC? VTX10, thanks

It defiantly can happen on a hard enough hit. Did you check all the connections? And when the throttle cuts out do you lose steering?

Sounds like sensor wire to me. Check both both motor and speed control sides of the connection.

Check and make sure you didn't break the solder joint on the capacitor, just resolder it and see if it helps

Thanks for the replies, the connections looked good but I will take a closer look at the capacitor and try a new sensor wire. I still have steering at all times and I can see the correct lights for throttle so it's registering the input.

I agree with sensor wire. I had a corner marshal grab my car from the back and it ripped one of the wires. It was not all the way through but after I would land it would loose drive but still have steering.

I just wanted to let you guys know that Coyote Hobbies in Lexington, Ky is now a authorized Viper-RC Solutions dealer and we are very VERY excited to be onboard! Please check us out at www.coyotehobbies.com where we will soon have a very nice online store up and running! We are a full service hobby shop and racers as well, so please feel free to contact us with any of your needs. I was very impressed with the 13.5 I put in my 2wd buggy and several local racers have the VTX controllers and love them!

Do you guys have a good starting setup for a 4wd mod ride? Picked up the new Durango dex410v3 and I'm dropping my 10r in it with a 6.5.
