Wease- we have a 1s version of the VTX in development. It got a little pushed to the back burner with the 550 motors them the Copperhead series. The boss is meeting with the engineers next week, I am sure it's on the agenda.

We have the Copperhead ESC and VX4 4 pole motor combos coming out in November. You are going to want the 3900kv 3mm option for your XXX-SCB. You will be able to purchase them at A-Main when released.

Is it normal for the VTX10R to take 5-7 seconds to arm after the button is pushed? Seems kinda extreme to me...

Yes. It does take a couple of seconds for the speedo to load up. Not bad to give up a few seconds for a great, smooth, powerful system.

A great day of racing.

I think i have my viper powered caster 4wd buggy really close to being dialed. We had a new track layout today and it was great. I Tq'ed both open sc and 4wd buggy. Due to something that i messed up on my buggy i was not able to run the main but did run and win the sc main. Viper 8.5 in buggy and 10.5 in SC.

Heat 2 4wd buggy

I'm looking to put a new motor in my Slash 4x4 with a LCG. It was just about the same weight as the SC10 4x4. I was thinking about going with the 5.5 with the 12.8 rotor. It will be paired with a LRP SXX Comp V2. Opinions? I was thinking this because one of the fast guys is running the LRP 6.5 with their 13mm rotor and loves it since our track is tight and technical. Here is a video of the main track I'll be running on.

We don't recommend the 540's even with a hop up rotor for any of the 4wd SC's. Even in the lighter AE/Slash 4wd the motors life expectancy is much lower and will be prone to overheating.

Any fix for the M11X FHSS-3 calibration/throttle cut problems? I'd like to actually use my VTX10R soon.

Here is a shout out to SaladFork for all the help he provided on setups for my Viper VTX10 and 17.5 motor. I ran the combo last night in my TLR 22 for the first time and was more than pleased with the performance.

The ESC is one of the smoothest I have ever driven and the 17.5 motor was plenty fast in a field of 13.5 motored cars. I tried a few setup adjustments with the Progauge and my pit table was empty without the laptop sitting there.

Here is a video of my A-main win.
