At no point did I ask, say or question which is better. I asked what grit people are sanding their rings with when they run ceramic. Which is why my buddy Cherry got this little guy

wasn't meant to be a dink Cherry but you failed to answer my question and simply threw your $.02 in on which you think is better.
For those who actually gave me an answer, thank you

There's never much sense arguing/discussing with George (Wild Cherry) since he's always right and always has the information direct from the top factory guys.
Getting both sides of both pairs of rings flat is what's important, your balls not as much

as long as they arent steel balls :P flat rings are definately most important imho. a grooved ring never feels right

I haven't had grooves in my rings in a long time, but what I mean by flat rings is that there are no high or low spots. As long as they're flat like what you can order from B-Fast or can do yourself with a lapping stone/plate, then the diff will be pretty smooth. Good thrust balls and rings are more often than not what makes or breaks a smooth diff.

After having installed b-fast rings, thrust and carbide balls in by B44.1 and b4.1 and run them for the past 4 weekends in a row I can say that the rings make a huge difference.
I have no gritty feeling diffs at all in my B44.1 and this would not normally be the case after running mod outdoors on some fairly dusty surfaces.
awesome product that makes a huge difference in how the car drives and puts the power down
