THX,
I have taken the rear diff out once already, it wasn't too bad....

I did everything correct, I hope by doing this step from the video again it will be ok. I'm using the SAVOX 1268, and it was fine when I had it in my Slash 2wd.

My radio is the Spectrum DX3C, so it still drives fine, I just have to compensate for the misalignment, when setting the other settings.

Kinda sux

I have that much subtrim in mine, has equal throw both ways, servo tracks straight, is it supposed to be a problem?

Here is the scales I use:

I paid $4.99, and apparently overpaid.

I asked some1 at the track, who knows more then I do.

-He said that is alil too much. He said, " should'nt really b higher then 25 or so."

I dunno, the only thing for me is it throws off the EPA and other settings.

That is correct.

You need one of these too, if the board isn't level your weights will be wrong.

And you need a board or something else level. I used a Besta cabinet door from Ikea as a base. It is flat, laminated, fairly tough, portable, and I had it left over from my home theater project.

The subtrim in my transmitter doesn't effect the EPA.

I guess I have to take the servo out & realign it???
I have to have my steering Trim at like 36Left, to even it out.
This throws every setting off, while trying to tune the radio settings.
Suggestions?

Why dont you just try to adjust some of that out with the steering turnbuckles?

I'll tell you what, I enjoy running my AE SC10 4X4 but the Pro4 Class just infuriates me. Any race I've been to big or small it just seems like the Pro4 Class is one of the dirtiest hack fests of the day. Essentially if you're not starting at the very top end of the field you can be assured you're going to get plowed in the first corner. I try and race unbelievably clean but I can't even count now the number of times I've gone from 4th or 5th at the start of the A Main to dead ass last within the first turn because people just pin it and have zero control of their vehicles. Just a little rant for everyone we'll see if this class can get any better because right now it's not showing any signs of that.

I hear ya. I do everything I can to start up front. If not, like you said, your probably gonna get taken out.

I seem to have more of a problem w/ lappers/backmarkers, it doesn't matter how many times you lap the same guy he still tries to race everytime I lap him. I blame that on the track owners/operators and ignorance.

I try and race as if I was in the truck. If I was running a 1:1 vehicle I surely would not be, running into others every other lap, or hitting the wall/pipe every lap.

I'm not a big fan or working on the my truck or buying parts for it. Therefore I drive in a sensible way and try and keep the abuse to a minimum. And guess what? Doing that has landed me in the winner circle much more often than not.

Hopefully the class can progress....

The track that I race at is very strict with rules and driver behavior, if your a hammer head taking everyone out left and right you will be removed from the the nights racing. Bumping and accidents happen but if someone is just out of control then something has to be done, complain to the track owners to lay down some racing rules and enforce them. It only has to happen once for people to get the hint.......BB

I think this is a testament to how badly most of the trucks in the field handle, up to the last battery myself included. In fairness to myself, my ish was fully under control, I just wasn't quick.

Keep in mind - if you get rid of the scrubs, you won't have anybody to race with. Just sayin'.

They need to be the same length else the bump steer and ackerman isn't the same from left to right. That said, there is a time and a place for everything.

This is totaly something the race director is responsible for. If you make peoeple start taking stop and go or even DQ from that round type of penalty they will learn to not take people out. guaranteed. The guy in front of you has the right of way and the right to pick his line. your responsible for getting by cleanly. End of story

First off, the truck was very balanced from left to right. The biggest issue I had was too much steering. I couldn't dial any more out, and the rear end was loose. It seems that this configuration place too much weight up front.

Also, my truck was much happier with the added weight of the stick pack and the 9oz. I added to it. Oh well, back to the drawing board.....
