May have been covered already but is the geometry of the new shock towers the same as the old ones as I believe the 4th hole was a pretty good setting on rear tower but had to be drilled by owner. I see the new tower has the same three holes but are they in the same location or have they been moved? Thanks for any input. Trying to update my old buggy for some winter mod action.

The new shock towers have the new hole location and are the same part number.

The new towers inner most hole is equivalent to the 4th drilled hole on the old.

The inner hole on the new rear tower is in the same position as the 4th hole on the old rear tower.

Here is the thing with the long chassis. The car as it comes is still very good. If you put that car in a capable persons hands that car will go just as fast as the long chassis car. With that being said the long chassis is slightly easier to get around the track, so to the middle of the road driver it will feel much better.

Also the chassis is not just for rough tracks. It is in my opinion better on all surfaces.

I just bought a T4 battery strap (which is needed anyway), and cut up my b4 strap to make the 4 long CF brace pieces.

Default Hex wheels???

So I'm a little pissed. I have all my parts to convert my B4 front axles into the hex set up (just used the SC10 parts) however the wheels are not out yet so I figured I would just go with the Losi 22 fronts. I have just found that the 22 wheels use a 9mm hex where the AE kit will use a 12mm hex. This takes away the point of trying to be more universal.

Have any of you run into this problem? Are the Kyosho fronts 12mm?

It states in the press release from Associated that the RB5 front wheels will also fit.

IIRC, it's been said that K wheels will fit and no mention of Losi.

AE and K run the same and Losi is the odd man out, so blame Losi not AE..
