Oh no...I'm not, woops 0-2 on that one hehe. Am I supposed to? It seems like the majority of the TRF team was using 3 hole pistons. When one of the Marc's and I were discussing setups and the topic of "how many hole pistons?" came up, he was using 3 and I was on 2 and then we were like, okay so what oil would give them the same feeling and after a few seconds of silent contemplation we came to the conclusion of "bah...just run it" hehehe.

I think Marc Rheinard always is using the 3 hole pistons and 60 oil. He never changes this regardless of indoor, outdoor or trackconditions. Also he never is using anything other than white/blue springs for rubber indoors and blue/blue outdoors. OK maybe yellow/yellow sometimes for outdoors. This was the same with the EVO3 also. He´s playing around with rollcenters and beside this he just drives the car.

At a recent practice for the upcoming Euro`s Marc was using AE gold up front and silver in the rear. He also tested TA white all around. And he had drilled an extra hole in the rear shock tower so the dampers could stand up more vertical.

Not really. Maybe you don´t believe it but I don´t care for soccer.

Maybe he does this at practice. But at the race is a different story.
OK I can´t see everything he´s doing but usually it´s really like this. His father told me indoors he was running the car at 2 races without touching anything.

He hadn`t touched the car since the Reedy race so I guess he just drove it with the setup that was on it. And he was fast as usual.

Sweet... Looks like I"ll try a different weight oil with the 3 hole pistions and something different springs besides AE Gold & Blue..

Kinda reminds me of a Barry Baker setup... he'll change one or two things.. that's about it... That's how I ran my TC3 back in the day... don't touch it or change setup. Worked good where-ever I went... I like those kind of setups.. hehe

When you find the sweet spot in the 415 or any cars setup all you find yourself changing is ver little things, half a deg of toe on the back or possibly change the rear spring rate. All me and my mate have done in the eurocup this season is run one setup just varying small things from track to track. Rick

ran the car for the first time today in 19. Man its quicker then i thought. the car has so much rip! I put in the fastest 19t lap in the day but i think i also beat the mods fastest lap. Thing is, i had a bit of a problem keeping the back from skipping out, i was having to be very cautious and turning small amounts, if i over did it, it was gone. any help? setup is

D B D D
-1.5 camber all around
yellow/white
0.5 front toe out
2nd hole frome inside rear
most outer hole on front
6mm ride all around

thanks

I set my EPA on my radio then turn the Dual Rates down to 80-70%. Maybe you can try turning down some Dual Rates. That's the quick way for a sometimes iffy rear end. You could also try to reduce some of the rear droop by .5mm at a time. Or add .5mm shims (at a time) under the rear inner camber link until it goes away. More rear toe in might help as well.
