You cant really shimm it up or else it locks up but there is alot of play here, anyone got any ideas? Also does anyone know the part number for the axle sized shimms?
cheers

Ah cheers mate, well its just im starting out in a bit of a puzzle you see. the 415 i brought was from a mate. He built it up good and proper raced it once indoors then decided he never wanted it, he was sent it by mistake in the first place. anyway he sent me the kit but forgot about the manual so thats later to come. the steering plate does have 1 shim i think. Its got the bearing with the flat edge on one side , and then a 1mm shimm shim
ill just wait till i get the manual n check it up
thanks

GEARING INFO
I going to race the 415 w/ a 19T Spec motor. But not sure what the appropriate gearing needed for the track I will soon race on. The track at my LHS pretty much resembles the track layout of the Tamiya, CA (RROC'04). The spur gear I'm using right know is a 102T-64P and pinion size is 31T-64P which according to the manual gives the final gear ratio of 7.20.
Would the gearing be suitable for the track I'll be racing w/ medium bite as well? Set-up of the 415 is similar to Rod's (RtypeC) set-up used at the RROC'04 except w/a center 1-way layshaft (still working on that part but might as well wait for the one Tamiya's coming out with) and stock front bridge suspension mount D.
Any info re gearing will be appreciated. Thanks!
