I have been running mine quite a bit , trying to find a setup that would give me the same awesome feel that my Losi has. I have found the truck to be very tough. Infact today I was hitting a jump at RCIS that was built to be singled on to a table top and then off the table to the down side of another single. The only model that I know of that has ever cleared it all is my elec 1/8 scale. I have seen some Pro's try it with nitros, some quite a few times heh Pattishal? and never make it. Well today I cleared it with my new SC10, but not without about 6 missed attempts and really big crashes. All I managed to damage was some body abuse. This confirms to me what I had conluded during the build, the SC10 is very well built truck with plastic that is top notch. I have not noticed any wear on the metal pieces , but nor would I expect to yet.

The new shock orings we have installed are ridiculously smooth.

Testing went well as there was a very slight sign of wetness around the lower part of the cartridge (possibly due to the lube during assembly).

Until I get these under a few more battery packs and through a few races I won't give them 100% approval. If they do pass muster then we will have them for sale on our site. Somewhere around $2.50-3.00 a full set.

i had a shock on the front that would leak where the cartidge is screwed to the shock body. I took some teflon tape and put it on the threads, screwed the pcs together and then trimmed the excess with a razor blade now no leaks at all.

where do you measure the ride height? the rear of the chassis is alot higher then where the tub part starts

I didn't take my shocks that far apart but I looked at the manual and it appeared as though there is no o-ring that seals the lower cartridge. I could see that as a problem and I could see Teflon taking care of any leaks there if that's the case. Are there any o rings or something else that seals the lower cartridge against the shock body?

hey guys and gals, i seem to have been a little generous with the black grease when building the cvds and after a few packs at the track, they are getting caked up with grit. I can see this leading to failure, as I am a low maintenance kind of guy. has anyone tried dry chain lube like pedro's ice wax from cycling to lube high friction, exposed areas? I might try it and see how it works.

Yeah, I have the Papyrus video game based on that.... horrible by today's standards, but I still load it up once in a while to remind myself how twitchy 2wd can be!

I am but only have had a chance to run it in the street a few times. motor about 120 after half a pack in the street. at a 13 tooth 32 pitch pinion now might have to drop to a 12 for the race memorial day weekend. RX8 runs nice and cool only two lights lite up

and I bent some 2mm music wire. You can even use set screws and yes the bumper clears. I just finished the front and will do rear tomorrow.
