Now that my new workshop is up and running the thoughts has start spinning around the front mid-diff mount in aluminium again Hope to start the work on the mount anytime soon. I have talked about making this earlier here in this thread. Have already searched through my RC8e-parts box and found the plastic one for reference

Shell installed. Ed does good work! Very clean lines! Finally had some time off to install them. I have so much work to do! Grid is first on the list to finish up.

Default Nice

The body's look fantastic Greg, what a top job. Was that photo taken in your kitchen? If so, you have a great, and very understanding wife!

Haha! Just an apartment while I'm in California. House is in Arizona. And divorced in 2007. I make the rules. Lol.

Looks great Gregg!!! I need to get some time to trim up a couple of my bodies and take a few pictures. Just finding time is really tough right now. I know you have the same problem Gregg.

I wish we had an indoor track here in bakersfield, but since we don't I didn't really see the point in my buying 10th since we mainly race 8th, and 4wdSC.
They both look really good! A solid red paintjob is going on THEcar, bahaha.

Hey guys I just bought my RC8BE last Thursday and have been slowing preaching it together. Havnt decided what motor to run tho. Whats the best for track purposes? I hear you what to go with a higher kv rating on buggies and gear them high? Is this true ?

It's better to be overgeared than undergeared in a sense. But I've done a little testing between my rc8be and ve8 and i've noticed that the 1900/rx8 combo works well in both, but the rc8be is really heavy. Truggy motor with stock gearing unless you're running on a huge track, go up a couple of teeth on the pinion.
