The other guy was correct. The Tekin reps spoke to me about this at the track. My tabs were starting to pull away after a while. It will shorten the life of the motor over time.

I guess I will have to re-do all my motors then.

I think the water and moist at the track are more dirty and will result in more rust than the water in the dishwasher.

Hey guys 30 pages back or so everybody was talking about joining Tower super saver club to save like $50 if you buy a rc8be. Do you have to signe up first and then get some coupon for signing up. And then later buy the rc8be. Or can you signe up and buy at the same time. I see it whent up to $409

You can put the membership in your cart with the RC8Be, then apply the coupon code. You have to at least have the membership in your cart for the $50 coupon to work. Also, when you have the membership in your cart, shipping will be free.

I braved the ice to go to the post office and pick up my 206B. Nice charger. I won't be able to try it out today, although I might cycle a pack just to see how well it works.

You guys with 206B chargers, did you update the firmware out of the box, or are you using it as-delivered?

Were do you get the $50 dollar coupon? Is this something that comes as part of your membership? And how do you get the code? Thanks

They update the codes every month. As a member you get the emails. I got mine yesterday for the February codes. I don't have them on me right now. I'm replying from my phone. But do a rctech search. There are entire threads with codes. But you have to be a member. The feb codes are like 011 something.

It did go up again LOL! It was 399.99 when I got it 3 weeks ago. Then to 402.99, now 409?

I found your post regarding the M3x10mm and M4x10mm screws.

From what I gather though the Tekin did in fact supply these screws for you, but you accidentially used the fan screws????

Bah, sorry. Little confused.

I'm hearing some bad stuff here....

Robinson Racing Mod 1 5mm 19T pinion.

Am I hearing right this isn't going to mesh right with a Tekin Motor?

PS - on my lunch break.. hence 5 posts

Oh, and PS -

Every motor I've seen in pics (for Tekin) have had the wires soldered facing rear....

I think... pretty sure though.
