Not necessarily , but compared to those crazy , over the top low end piccos ? Yes

Its Nothing that can't be adjusted outside the engine

If used in truggy , I recommend using at least 2 1.1 clutch springs in a three shoe setup , ifusing 4 shoe like losi use 3 aluminum with gold and one carbon with green , use 9853ss/41021 or 2084ss/41021 .

If anybody has any questions about the engines just give me a pm

Sorry to butt into your thread Monty ! i could have sworn Kgombe was asking for more low end ( I must have been bloody dreaming LOL ) ....and IMO the FMS already has pretty low trapped compression to dropping the shims a little would help wake up the bottom end quite safely.....

Picco's do have killer bottom end, but you should feel the mod B5, it in a whole other league !

U can butt in anytime you like neal ,it is an open forum ya know

The b5 has nothing on a p5xlt when properly timed and tuned but I never try to achieve "the most power" , I am always striving to obtain the best balance of power delivery and mileage which I think I have been very successful at having almost 800 engines out there

I know its an open forum, but i feel too many people are disrespectful of other people's threads, and like me your a small business just trying to do a good job...so I figure its always good to show proper respect when I feel I may be butting in...

I would love to tell you more about the mod B5, but I will leave that in my own thread !

Cheers !

I purchased a 21-7FMS from Houston a while back, its still in my MBX6T and that thing is BADASS, stupid fast and responsive. I use 2X1.1's and 1x1.0 mugen clutch spings and shoes, and a Dynamite 053 pipe a header and I have more power than I need throughout the powerband. Oh and I forgot to mention its gets better fuel mileage than any other motor I've seen. I go 12min easy!

Very Happy with my FMS!!!!!!!!!!!

The one you seen must be a dud. I have no problem in the bottom or top end department. The right pipe also helps...

That is a good deal. If I was looking for a new offroad motor and had the money, I'd jump all over that.
