You numbers look fine, just give it a try hope it helps
same problem here . so i just started leaning out little at a time and it got better

Alright thanks all... I'll accept that everything is right but the engine is too rich engage the clutch properly. I don't want to over rev the motor though. I'm not new to nitro but I'm new to these types of clutches. A standard 2 shoe clutch would definitely engage with the engine RPM I'm seeing.

Any suggestions on how to do the break in then? I guess I'm just going to continue running it like it is (1/4-1/2 throttle to get it rolling), then gradually start leaning out and hope the clutch engagement gets better.

If memory serves correct its 33 and 28? I will double check.

Yup, from the xray forum by Brano Bulko (xray slovakia employee) Silver Springs from kit

The silver rear springs (long) included in the NT1 kits are similar to the #308396 - Spring-Set D=1.7 (28 LB) Violet (4) and the silver front ones (short) are similar to the #338185 Spring-Set D=1.8 (33 LB) Light-Purple (2)

Hi guys, got a question for you all. I would think that this one has come up before. I ran a 45 min main on Sunday and around the 25 min mark the brakes started to fade. What is the best fix for this? I just have stock brakes but wanted to hear your thoughts for this fix. Thanks MK

YOu were at Blue Diamond? KM Racing brake pads are the best.

cutting the stock pads and using return springs works. If you can get your hands on the KM racing bits they work well. I have been using Mugen MBX6 brake pad material. I hear good things about the Capricorn pads too, But I can't say because i don't have personal experience. I am liking the xray optional disc with mugen pads. The stock disc had the vents that once worn would grab a bit 4 times per rev. You don't have to get the other disc, but the mugen pads make a decent amount of heat.

Cheers,

Patrick

Check it out, you won`t be disappointed.

Best hopups for the NT1 i think.
Best pads bar none, best brake lever bar none.
Best middle bearing block bar none.
Nitro ho would you mind posting atomicrc web link please.

Cheers Daz

Had the same issue , i am now using the same stock stuff but with small cutting of fuel tube as spacers btw the pads about the size of small orings in the shocks , seems to work better as it not rubbing on the disc . but definitely the optional disc is better than the stock . Saving it for a rainy day

Pictured are the soft 2speed springs for the NT1, which are the correct length but are just too hard for this operation. the O'donnell brake springs for their ZO1 buggy Is what worked out for me.

Use 2 of the springs on each side, 4 come in the pack.
