I've notoced that too. I tried to get on the Race Factor site to look for a Go 2072 pipe and get some infor on the GX line of engines and I got directed to that same web page. What happend to Race Factor Industries? Who is the US distributor now?

its a nice web site but all it has is 5 engines on there it dont have the starter box, the pipes, the new fly wheels or the tools i want a web site that i can get that stuff from

I'm not sure which forum you speak of. But at Truggy Racer's.com Ruune moderated the Cen thread. I don't know if that's Trey or not, but they're both from Texas.

Thanks for your help, i am fairly new to Nitro and this long needle short needle thing never heard of,

just to reiterate my LSN leaves the jet by 1mm only at WOT it is needle shaped and this is short needle. (this sounds OK?)

Sorry for the trouble, just running in and tuning will be challenging enough without the trouble of cooking an engine.

Dave - there is a picture of the two different needles I posted half way down page 682. Also go back and read the discussion re short and long needles on pages 676, 677 and 678. That should explain all you need to know.

Thanks for your help, the engine i have is the following R2500-M20HSG (in case another nitro newbie asks the same question) and thankfully for me has a short needle.

i got a new go 5 port standard plug that came with a turbo button and if i want to put the turbo button on it do i need to add that extra shem that comes with it to the turbo button or do i need to leave it off from what it looks like and the best i can tell it need to go on there but i figured i would ask and be sure

With the turbo head you should be running the 1 x alloy .3mm shim and the 2 x very thin .1mm copper shims for a total of .5mm of actual shims.
The other thicker .2mm shim is the "break in shim" used for lowering the compression when running the motor in for the first few litres.
