You will need the 09 upgrade package, the 2010 front lower arms, 2010 radioplate, 2010 belts, and 2010 rollcentre bridge and rear shocktower.

I think all of this will be around $300-350, so I think you will be better of selling your 08 for $175-200 and get a 2010 car.
Costs will be the same but then you will have a completely new car, so new bearings, new clutch, new ball links and such.

You will also have better resale value, because then you have an actual 2010 which will still be worth some money the next years instead of a hopped up 08 with a lot of loose parts.

Thanks guys for pointing out the differences. DS, thanks for the advice as well; i'll try selling off my 08 spec first then.

Cheers!

We have had factory drivers reach 74-75 mph at 301 raceway in Maryland. The highest pinion you can run on a 8 scale car is a 21 tooth most guys use 19 tooth and some used a 20t at the 2009 worlds last year. Race in the amain with some 8 scale cars and you will be blown of the track. Take to factory drivers one with a a 8 scale car and one with a 10 scale car. On a large track the 8 scale car will put laps on a 10 scale car in a long main. I race like 10 scale I have a tamiya 416 we, nt1 ec and kyosho m3 evo. I race 10 scale because there are more people that run the class because 8 scale is either to fast pace or expensive for them. 8 scale Cars have more cornering speed, more acceleration, and slightly more top end speed than a 10 scale nitro car there is no comparision. Nobody gears there 8 scale with ral
tall gears even on the largest track we only run a 19t pinion. Paulo was clocked at 79 mph before at the at 301 raceway. The fastest top speed recorded for a 10 scale car were 65mph by Vincent Jackson with a jp eagle tl3-t and Murnan at 65mph with his rbm3 which was a prototype at the time.

Also included: instructions to modify 336110 - NT1 Graphite Radio Plate so it meets V2 Specs.

This is the parts list off of a reputable Online store to upgrade to '09 specs. I'm not sure whats changed again to the 2010. I put the CVDs and V2 plastics on my '08. I didn't run it much last year. Electric was pretty big where I raced. A local club in my area is going to promote Nitro, so I'm ready to get excited about Sedan again.
Correction, delete the front cvd's, and if you have a later 08 car you will have v2 plastics with the exception of the front arms, belt tensioner, servo mt and second gear.

Keep in mind, the main change IMO was the rear shock tower and the roll center bridge. Two things that if you don't have you might consider picking up along with a V2 belt tensioner set. Other things like the top deck, you can modify yours to suit if your handy with a dremel. In all honesty, I still run V1 fuel tanks and haven't had issue with them but will run v2 stuff this season just for grins because my cars will all be 2010.5

I bought the conversion to '09. It did bring Front and Rear CVDs.

I had a '08 car, and ALL of the plastics were very soft on the pivot balls, so dunno about that too.

Received yesterday my order from Team Epic...

x2 - CAP-14045 - Differential Bevel & Satellite Gears (4+2)
x2 - CAP-16056 - Light Pin Differential

All 4 items weigh less than 8 grams...

Difference between two rear differentials were 15 grams.
