Yes the metal sleeve is still on the carb.No worries there...the problem is a minimal movement barely noticeable but it is there.
More noticeable when installed on the car and hitting throttle/brake!!
As for the venturies, i personally remove it or use a 9mm, i can not imagine the 3 port R with 6 or 7 mm venturies.
How do you get this thing moving with the 6 or 7?
It already lacks the power down low so an even smaller ventury would theoretically kill it!

I'm running with 7mm and it's OK for me. 6mm IMHO is too low. If you lack down low and have gone through the clutch/pipe setups and are not having it off-tune then you just are too power hungry
and should go with 5p turbo
What I've noticed is that the new 08 3pt seems to be better out of the box than the first gen. engine. For sure I'm now comparing a 5G engine to just broken in one but the mill still have plenty of compression and is working just fine. Anyway the 08 morels in 3p seems to be a step forward from the absolutely first 3p races that came available.

I have noticed some side to side play with the carb on my go 3 port T. I can rotate it just a little by hand. It will not move up or down just rotate side to side. Does anyone know if the carb off of a OS VG will fit this motor. The reason I am asking is because I had a problem at my last race with my truggy. I will paste that post beneath this one to get your guys ideas on what it could be. Thanks.
My Losi was raced for the first time today and I had a problem I need some help with. While jumping and the nose falls down it cuts out like it is running out of fuel then when it lands it takes a few seconds to clear out. When I check the in tank filter it was fully sumerged in fuel. I can turn the truck in all different positions while holding it and it does not do this until I hold it by the wing or even at a 45 degree angle with the nose down. It just acts like it is not getting enough pressure to move the fuel into the carb. I changed the fuel line and also tried moving the filter in different posistions in the tank. My freind has one and it does it also but a few others had them and theirs is fine. Sorry this post is so long but I need help. Thanks in advance.

Yes the Carb from the VG 30 will fit .
We had a similar problem with the Losi . What we did was lower the tank . The driver had the tank up high for the larger battery . funny enough thats when his problems started.. i told him to lower it back down and the problems went away .
Its also very important to have the fuel line go horizontal from the tank to the carb.. if you have it going up and down it will cause irregularities in pressure vs gravity ..
Hope this helps !

Thanks guys. I put a carb from my VG .21 on the GO and it fits. I just hope it will tune as easy as it did on the OS. I have my fuel lines horizontal now and have went from a JP-3 to a 086 pipe. Also put a new tank on it. I will try to start it up in a little while. thanks again.

I guess I'm not totally understanding what your trying to ask? You can interchange all Go .21 internals. Also everything fits Novarossi, I put a Go crank and rod in a P5x and it ran better than before.

I've never tried installing Go 5 port internals into my 3 port R....yet, but as soon as my 3 port R loses compression, I'll try installing the 5 port internals into it.

Victorian Titles results
While the Vic titles finals were washed out the trophies were awarded as per final grid listings and the Go / Massive racing team did a pretty good job !
Truggy TQ & 1st placing Go Engine A MAin Fuel Craig Laughton
Buggy 2 nd placing Go Engine A MAin Fuel Craig Laughton
Monster Truck TQ and 1 Joe Glavic 2 Adam & 3 placing Go engine A MAin Fuel
Special mention to the boys in Monster Truck running .21 Go engines against big blocks and having a convincing win over all ! Big thanks to Craig Laughton for his superb skills out there against a very full field of some of australias best drivers. It was a shame the finals werent run , it would have been great to see them run. on a side note the new Hot Bodies buggy Craig was running , one word ... AWESOME ! Craig looked fast even up against the amazing skills of Matt Griffin and Wayne Walker ! Also a special thank you to Mr Chris Rulssell from Hunter Valley RC for supplying Craig with a radio, without him Craigs run would not have been possible !
More news and pics to come !
