He didnt say anything after we blew the doors off him down the straight away though. haha these motors rock. I have had no tuning problems or nothing. Minor touches to the needled drop this thing fifteen degrees at a time. Thats what i like to see.

if i go with the .21 7 port what pipe do you recommend ? i hear the jp pipes are the best ones? any thoughts

well alot of people choose the 0801 pipe or the dynamite 053 pipe.As for jp pipes jp2 seems to be what everyone likes on here. I have a sportwerks pipe that is specifially designed for low to mid range. those pipe are just as good or better

Had my first race with my 7 port today... It went HORRIBLE! Had idle issues, flamed out of the main..

Turns out it was my own fault. For one I should have fully broken in the motor before today and got a good race tune on it. But it was a busy week. So I went back out on the track after all the mains were over to try again. I started by pinch testing the low-end, ended up being WAY to lean. So I fattened it up about 3 or 4 hours.

Started driving it and it was fat through out the entire range.. So I thought, 'hmm, lets try leaning out the top.' I ended up leaning out the top about 4 hours and that really seemed to wake it up. I had essentially been tuning it backwards. Once I got it right the thing was a BEAST!!

It ran cooler and just performed better from bottom to top. I guess on these race engines the LSN controls a LOT. Wasn't like that on my Go 3 port. I think I mostly have it running good now, temps were about 260-270 with no idle issues or flame-outs.

p.s. I have the new shorter LSN.

My PTM Go Engine did great this Saturday at the AR /TN Series Race. Good to see several GO Engines at the race.

Hi guys

Been having some issues with my go 25 3 port and my go 21 3 port sport engines with the needle settings changing wilst the cars are running. I cost me an A final win last weekend when the idle screw came undone during the finals!

Any cures for this?

Thanks in advance

if your talking obout the sportwerks 053 it is almost identicle to the dynamite edition except the stinger brace.

I have found the dynamite 053 with a werks medium conical header to be the best combo with lots of bottom and to much on top and I can pit from 9:30 to ten minutes depending on the track

FURADI i have a .21 3 port and it has the low side need that everyone is having troubles with and i figured out i was tuning mine backwards. also my temps were alittle high but i think it was all due to fuel line to exhaust came off somewhere towards end of the 2 hour endurance race i ran and temped at 279 then other than that it hads tons of power and didnt miss a beat . i ran a novarossi 9886 with a standard header. thnx will g

If your needle turns easily on any motor it needs new o-rings on the needle.

so how do you know( besides a bad tune) that you are tuning your motor backwards. I got a 5 port a while ago, about a month or so. had to wait to buy the rest of the stuff for it, but it should be here by the end of the week. I have an 086 pipe, I can't wait to fire this bad boy up

i finally got the newer lsn and some new o rings for my needles for my 3R. i went w/ the base settings of flush hsn and 2.5 turns in on lsn. it was still quite rich and ended up leaning the hsn about 5-6 hours before i got good performance bottom to top. ran a few tanks through yesterday at the track and was satisfied w/ the performance using a P3 plug and Dyn 086 pipe. so far i believe the new lsn did the trick. we'll see this comming weekend if it runs the same

I see some of you are running the 25 6port.
What plugs are you guys using in it?
I'll be using a 0801 go pipe.
