I dont think there is any possible way for a engine to be running awesome bottom to top and blowing a ton of smoke and be over 310F

when the engine gets hot it will stop smoking and start to lose power or bog down.

Just ran my .21 7-port today on the track for the first time today and WOW! The more I ran it throughout the day the more power it got and that was with the 7.5 carb restrictor in it too. I was using only a quarter throttle all day long with the my ZX1-R buggy and it was ripping! Temps were around 235-245 most of the day. Power delivery is very smooth the not abrupt. Easy to drive. My other friend ran his 2 NEW Go techs .28 6-port and .21 7-port and we had a blast all day long. Both of us went from OS .21 V-specs and Picco .28 and OS .21 VG and could not be happier making the switch.

My distributor has told me all the Race motors are turbo plugs now except for the .28 6-port. The regular plug head I think it still available but I think has to be purchased seperately. All the Race .21's I just got in stock are turbo plugs including the 5-port.

So, your saying that the '08 .25 now comes with a
turbo head button? If so, I'll order one this week.

Your previous post said 5-port not .25. Is it the .21 5-port you want? .21 5-port has the turbo plug. I meant to say all the .21 Race motors have turbo heads. I forgot the .25 along with the .28 Race ones are supposed to have standarg plugs. I have not gotten a NEW .25 in yet. I can call me distributor tomorrow and let you know for sure what the NEW .25 Race comes with if that is what you want. If the .21 5-port is what you want I have got them in stock.

Awile back someone said that a turbo.25 was being
tested. I have been waiting for it's release. I have
a PTM GO .21 7 port, that I bought from "littlemotor"
and I'm very happy with it. I want to add a few
more GO motors to my arsenal.

Maybe a tuning issue

What are your HSN and LSN settings at when this happens?

The 3 R Spec likes the HSN needle all the way out flush or even out past the housing. Mine was doing the same thing when I had the HSN in 1 turn, so I ended up backing the HSN out until it was 1/4 turn out past the top of the housing.

I ran my 7 port for the first time at a major race this weekend, from about 1/2 a gallon to just under 2. Something interesting happened right near the bottom of the first gallon and I now understand what people mean when they say just wait until the pinch goes. Basically in the period of a couple tanks the retard amount of pinch went all but away, to the point where I can now turn it over by hand and the motor got simply amazing. The power was as good or better then anything at the track, including vspecs, rb c6's and the likes. It was awesome, and the best part I was getting over 10 mins of runtime with a 053 pipe. Anyone looking for a motor for a big open outside track this is the one for you, at 200 bucks you just cant beat it. On a smaller track it might be to much to handle so look to your 3 port for something like that.

Very impressed at this awesome little motor!

I think regarding prices whats happening is we believe that a good engine has to cost over $400, the bench mark being set by most of the European engine makers.. While the Euros make awesome engines the Taiwanese make them just as good ! The ISO rating for Go Factory is the same as Novarossi being ISO9001 ...
Being cheaper dosent mean they arent as good , i think they are just well priced , and for the price you get a world class engine. I think for a new company to make a name for its self it needs to pull out all stops and produce something thats competitive in the market place. Go have done this with their range of engines , well priced and well made.

If you think about it a stroker kit for a 383 chev costs about $550 USD ... Why should a micro engine cost that much when it uses less and one 30th of the material to make ? Just putting it into perspective , the answer is it dosent ...
