Yeah, the M8 looked pretty straightforward. The M11 is an entirely different animal. Module plugs into the same place, but that was about it.

As far as plugs, another good place to check would be an auto parts store. A good one will have several sizes of plugs for firewalls, etc, to fill access holes and the like.

I have a question

I have a spektrum dx2.0 and want to get a spek micro RX

Will they work together? I know the micro is part of the pro series right?

The grey rx is just to big, and the little one would be awesome! Just dont know if they will work with the dx2.0, because its not pro series

And yes I read this page, but t doesnt answer my question, atleast I dont see it lol

connect esc to the battery..

press and hold rx button.. wait for it to flash many times.

press and hold tx module button and turn on radio.

wait for the tx module light to flash many times and both rx and tx module light will be in a solid state.

hth

..I'm hearing the receiver for the new LOSI SLIDER that comes with the Spektrum radio will work in the regular Spektrum systems...

anyone here try them yet?

(They run about 1/2 the price of the normal spektrum receivers....)

Sounds like you've got the polarity reversed. Flip the plugs around 180-degrees where you plug them into the recevier and try re-binding. I'm willing to put money on that.

It does work with the Spektrum modules, radios, and the DX3R. However I am not sure that the range is the same between the Losi and the Spektrum units. But if you buy a Slider have confidence in the fact that, if you want to use your own radio instead of the one it comes with, it will work.

Yep...several of us have them. They seem to work just fine. myrcsupply.com has them for 30-something...I think 35-37 bucks or so.

I Pluged the servo and esc plugs in the same way that the bing plug was in. When i flip it to the way you say the rx doesnt flash like it says in the instructions.

I liked the one in my Slider so much, I bought one for my XXX-R Dirt Oval late model, and it works like a charm! The only thing I've noticed is that if I'm down at ground level (not up on the driver's stand), the range is a bit short ("fail safe" has kicked in twice in 4 weeks at about 120' or so -- not every time, just once in a while). However, once I'm up on the stand, it's flawless all night long. (190' indoor dirt oval)

hi,

so if I would to use my Futaba 3PK Spektrum module with the Losi DSM receiver, there will not be a problem right?

Sorry, if I asked a redundant question. I just would like to have a confirmation on that... it is much cheaper...

thanks for the great info!!

You have the step marked in red above reversed. Hold the transmitter in your desired failsafe position, push and hold the bind button on the transmitter module, than turn on the transmitter. Hold button until the light in the receiver stops flashing. It is than bound.

BTW, if your using the cap on the receiver, don't plug it in backwards. It will unbind the receiver.
