The main problem with Orion tires is they dont have the multi compound types like the double pink/orange or purple/orange. I guess souble pinks are like a 35-37 shore, and purples are like a 40 shore. Orange is something liek a 50-55 shore.

Do they work ok as rears? They are pretty cheap. Like half the price...

So, does a double pink become an orange with lots of CA?

Default Team orion Platinum Li-po on T2

Have you put the platinum Li-po on Xray T2?
Because the right rear bulkhead is slot for Ni-Mh,
Do you have and suggestion?

Jilles was able to fit the LiPo in his T2 at the GP World Cup (before he switched to Trinity), I'll ask around to the folks that were there if he had to modify anything. It's possible that if you modify the plastic battery holders you/we might not need to modify the bulkhead, which does look scary to Dremel down with that hole in it!

HI Guys,

From what I saw yes they had to modify the bulkhead as well as removing the plastic battery holders.

Which Isn`t too sad think off all the Losi Guys (JRXS) that will not be able to run these cells and possibly the Tamiya MSX because the bulkheads on that pretty much wrap around the cells like a blanket.

From what I heard you cant fit it on the T2 but it sounds like people have. I would like to see pictures. I think for LIPO to really take off either the battery makers are going to need to put things on them to make them fit like traditional batteries (see my earlier posts) or the car makers are going to need to adapt their car designs to fit them. Should be interesting to see which goes first. I personally would like to see both change. I would like the cars to fit the box shaped battery but I would like to see nuts added to the battery case so you can screw the battery to the chassis.

How do you figure half the price?

On that same site they have Jaco single stage single compound tires for $12.95?
Single stage dual compounds for $13.95, and 2 stage tires for $16.95...

Personally, I'd pay the extra $3 to ensure that my rear tire compounds were similar to what I was using for my fronts...

What does the diff height adjustment specifically change in the cars handling?
Normally raising the diff will raise the center of gravity and free up that end of the car a little. Some one correct me if I'm wrong.

Search anodizing in the for sale forum. There is someone who does supply this service.
