I use 20% with the .1mm shim.I don't think 30% with a .1mm shim would work to good.It could also hurt your fuel mileage.

Hello, which method of break-in are you using guys? I have seen a lot of methods, like Josh Cyrul, WOT, RB Engines, and the OS method but I cant decide which I use. Can you tell yours experiences?
Byron 2000 20% nitro with 12% oil is a good fuel for race? Or it is better to change to a fuel with 9% of oil?

Thanks

What is the difference between L52 and L70 pipes? Mainly, can some explain the differences between the following:

OSMG2970 72103051 O.S. Tuned Pipe T-1040 L52 Left Side Optional

OSMG2974 72103071 O.S. Tuned Pipe T-1040 L70 Left Side Optional

OSMG2979 72106310 O.S. Tuned Pipe T-1040SC L52 Left Side Optional

OSMG2608 72106400 O.S. Manifold M1001SC T-1040SC L52 Optional

OSMG2985 72106500 O.S. L52 SC Complete Set One-Piece Pipe Optional

Thank you

I think L is left side pipe and the number is the tip opening in mm. So the 52 is 5.2mm and legal size. Guys correct me if I'm wrong.

Just to let you all know how good this motor is.
I've been consistently pitting at 6 minutes, the motor now has two big races under it, and it's still tight.

BoCal,

Just finish my piston and sleve and crankshaft. Just as fast as yours before you post here.

How do these engines match up to the RB V12 engines? They're close, price wise, but just curious about the performance between the two? An RB V12 goes for 220 (3 port) where the 5 port version is 249. These prices are from acehardware. I want another engine for my other MTX3, and was considering the OS12 TZ, but if the RB is only 50 bucks more (5 port) and performance & reliability is better, it'd be better to go with the RB.

I am not new to the hobby but new to these methods. I always break-in my engine with my own method, I want to try a new method for more perfomance and I´ve seen guys have good expierence with Wot method and Josh Cyrul. I have doubt if this method work good for TZ 12 3P

Sorry, my english is terrible I am learning
