Default New OS 12 TzR

Hello from France,

I've heard OS is going to release a new engine certainly called .12 TzR.

Main features :
- 2.1 cc
- 3 ports
- 16% nitro design
- long stroke ( like italian brands )
- 12mm crank shaft
- new case ( the case of the 18 TzR )
- new carb
- new agressive machined piston/sleeve
- Ifmar legal version and Efra legal version
- why not an OS Speed Division engine?? ( I dream....)

It will be presented at the Nuremberg Show on february.

Do you have more info??

Hi romuald,

Great to know you will have the engine soon, still not available (no news) in US.

Do you know this new engine whether is using a "big neck" carb, (same look as TZ18, can use Nova type air-filter) or just same as past production?

I will buy one later.

hello , I will receive a pre-production engine.

The cranckcase will be black ( alu for my engine), and reinforced like Nova or sirio.
The car is new: big air filter, 3 screws, black treatment and OS Reliability
Long stroke, new piston/sleeve, new cranckshaft, new conrod....

Full new in fact and especially designed for 16% nitro, but 25% also.

Os will produce new pipes and manifold for their engine for big performance...

Any spec on this motor yet? If it's rated anything above 1.4 or better by OS, it will be a killer

So, are they saying it will be an improvement over the R-spec? I plan to stick with my R-Spec for now. Just wondering...

I wonder how much improvement we're talking here. I'm all in for a new engine (under 200, if possible), but it has to be able at least hang with the many Nova S3 based engines they have out. I've been eyeing the RdLogics, Sirio and Mega line but haven't committed on anything yet. I love the numbers the .18 is making, but it is a bit illegal, so that's out.
